If "a decent respect to the opinions of mankind" (Declaration of Independence) and the original Constitution (Article IV Section 4, the Bill of Rights, the entirety thereof, etc.) were the outline for the ideology of the United States, then the vast majority of all those currently associated with government would needs be escorted out (as according to th Attorney Genral's wishes). There is nothing in the Constitution that says that those that "do not believe in" a specific ideology shall not be allowed to live in the United States -- quite the contrary actually.
