Vladimir Ilyich Lenin Quote

“You have read and heard that communist theory—the science of communism created in the main by Marx, this doctrine of Marxism—has ceased to be the work of a single socialist of the nineteenth century, even though he was a genius, and that it has become the doctrine of millions and tens of millions of proletarians all over the world, who are applying it in their struggle against capitalism.”

It is really hard to rate these quotes today or comment on them with stars. 5 stars for accuracy, thumbs down for the implementation of the statist theocracy. The here set forth Lenin doctrine is a disease that inflicts the week and the many. Those that put down or destroy what their neighbor has because it is easier than creating their own personal wealth are the socialist borg that infests this planet. The week can justify or claim happiness in the herd if their are no stay individuals enjoying self creativity or existence. Socialism (communism, fascism, progressivism, etc.) destroys the mind and spirit of the being by the mass while true capitalism, is an individual expression in a free trade atmosphere that raises the many. Freedom, liberty, individual rights, law, justice, a free market, and true capitalism are antithetical to and, can not exist under the statist theocracy of Lenin's dogmas.

I would much rather be a sovereign individual engaged in the animated contest of freedom, taking on the risks and responsibilities that accompany everything life has to offer...than be a "proletarian socialist". My God! How boring and meaningless life would be as a socialist. An "ant".

Read "Harvest of Sorrow" for a look at the horrors put upon the Russian people by Lenin and Stalin.

The problem with today's 'progressive liberals' is that they do not recognize that they are promoting the same ideals of Marx -- the ideals which are responsible for the murders of hundreds of millions of people, and the enslavement of the remaining billions. Will their lust for everything everyone else has ever cease? Will they not be happy until all are brought to their knees? I do not think socialists will ever be happy -- especially if they do indeed get socialism -- ask the soviets, east germans, chinese, cubans -- this is where they are trying to lead us. Wake the f%ck up!

Mike, his agenda had nothing to do with Communism Marx did not want Lenin to take over the reins unfortunately he died before he could implement his government. Stalin was even worse - I'm not saying that they were correct ,all I'm saying is that it was not the communism that Marx had envisioned. All social structures in time collapse as America's will. And the reason is very simple, lack of compassion and empathy.

RBE, Marxism is not compassionate -- not at all. It is just another form of hierarchical control. Its failure, as with all totalitarian ideals, is that it provides no check against the centralization of power. It is a form of arrogance no less than the classic religious structures throughout history that result in the burning of millions. Marxism does not recognize the dignity of the individual -- it does not recognize the rights of individuals -- 'the needs of the many ourtweigh the needs of the few' -- of course, in that system a few decide what the needs of the many are. It is untenable, a fantasy, and the vehicle for dictators to seize the control of a nation. The notion that all are to serve the state is an anthill mentality -- it is not compassionate, it is just a substitute for religion in which the state is absolute and power is the god. Marx's 10 planks spell out perfectly the system of communizing the world. Empathy has nothing to do with it. How anyone as smart as you could fall for such a con is beyond me, Robert. You empitomize the independent individual: as a gay atheist you must have a lot of guts to stand up for yourself and know of your natural born dignity. The fact that you have had to fight against the crowd most of your life may explain your call for compassion, but like many of the freed oppressed, they quickly fall into oppressing others. Is it not enough to be accepted as you are, or must you now force your ways upon others as was done to you? I think such self-righteousness is an expression of your hurt and hatred of those that do not 'approve' of you. I think that is very hypocrital of you and shows that you still have not gotten it yet -- there is more healing to be done. Your trying to save us is no different than the religionists trying to save you -- do you not see that? At what price shall we indenture ourselves for your idealism? I am afraid you are missing the very basic principles of Zen -- the 'this isn't it' syndrome is driving you. Let it go, man.

RBE...Why would you trust the government to completely control the entire economy under the system of socialism when, right now, it can't even balance its own checkbook? Why would you advocate expanding the government when it can't even maintain itself at the size it is today without incurring unsustainable debts? Many of those in power, through corruption and waste, have skillfuly and unlawfully squandered our own fortunes and gained riches for themselves at the expense of their constituents. The solution is not to give them the complete control of socialism, for they are common men and women that can make honest mistakes and can even be corrupted. They, like anyone else, cannot be trusted with such immense power.
