There are some compromises which cannot be made -- like giving away one or two inalienable rights in order to protect the rest. If we cannot negotiate with terrorists, then we cannot give in to certain terms even if it means 'peace' (for a while). That goes for any other socialist agendas that may be proposed in order to 'secure peace' in the world at the expense of our hard-fought liberties.

Concessions do not mean unwarranted compromise of core values... lest we forget, killing is something we're not supposed to want to do either...

It's interesting that the neoconservatives of today are saying the same thing. They're both wrong, of course. Concession does not equal surrender. As Confucius wrote, you're never going to get everything you want, or nothing that you want -- you make concessions and the other side makes concessions and you reach an agreement. That's how you achieve an enduring solution.

As long as concessions do not concern inalienable rights and core values that are consistant with natural law, they are merely an adjustment of procedure. When concessions concern such rights and values, war will result. The democratic oligarchy that now inflicts this nation with socialism and imperialism will result in war, either from domestic or foreign actors.

Any concession when dealing with any tyrant will be viewed as weakness and inspire more demands and threats from him. If you are not dealing with a tyrant yor are not dealing with any threat ot war.

Compromise always defaults to success for evil. Unwillingness to compromise often results in conflict which, if liberty and righteousness are upheld, is necessary to pursue - even to the taking of life to preserve that liberty and righteousness.
