Another example of our government saying "DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO!" Seems to be the current administration's policy. (It's OK if I do it, BUT YOU, you get to painfully pay or go to jail. (ask Rangle! and then Willie Nelson...)

Human nature has not changed much in 300 years. It is like the parent that tries to teach their children not to repeat their own major mistakes in life, but they don't always listen. Same thing applies here. From the past, people have 'been there done that' and try to tell us, but we don't believe it and people like Waffler say it does not apply because it is ancient history, except the consequences of not listening will affect several future generations!

Reminds me of the old saying 'What goes around comes around'. Someone dare to try to speak the truth nowadays, the media paints them as a zealot of some sort, or a witch hunter! This quote was before Christ's time, we haven't change much, have we..... (the roller coaster ride of life!)
