As long as it's not Christian liberty! Roger Baldwin, founder of ACLU was a card carrying Communist and rabid anti-Christian. Our Constitution is valid only for a Christian and moral society. A lot of pure evil is being done in the name of "liberty" and the intent and context of the Constitution being used to further destructive agendas.

While I agree whole heartedly with what he said I find it sadly ironic that he and Eisenhower were in charge of driving out the WW1 vets peaceably assembled in make shift camps wanting the bonuses they were promised for enlisting. Their camps and belongings were destroyed and many were injured.

I agree to a point; but the most disasterous direction in America is turning away from the One Who made the fields and the things that grow in it. I see bumper stickers proclaiming "trees are the answer". NO! The One Who created the trees is the answer.
Even the churches are putting the creation before the Creator. Until we return, hearts in hand and on our knees to Him, this country will continue it's downward spiral.

First of all I loathe and dispise the anti-Christian ACLU or Anti-Christian Liberties Union. Burning the flag, or making it into clothing is deeply wrong and disrespectful on so many levels. This organization itself has no respect for our flag or the servicemen and women who've sacrificed more than I can imagine under this very meaningfully significant banner. Men have given their lives just to keep it from touching the ground in battle. There is a deeply rooted reverence for this flag; it's not just a piece of cloth.
