We saw a great example of this when Obama care was passed. Over 70% of American citizens opposed it but Nancy , Harry, and the rest of the usual suspects rammed it through anyway.

We also saw it when W was elected and when the Kenyan was elected twice, then evidence of massive voter fraud surfaced but was buried. The system is broken beyond repair. All we get now is a "show" made up of lies and deceit.

Give me 108% and the power to appoint the prosecutor and the majority will always win ;-(

The majority should not, nor should it ever rule. When the majority is in control it is not the compasionate act of a government, but rather the lack of a government. The mob rules; the minority is left powerless. Their liberty unprotected, their rights existant by the will of others and their lives as well as the lives of their children are sold to slavery. God gave the same rights to all. The many taking these from the few is as sinful as the few taking it from the many. It is the duty of every free man to defend his own rights as well as the rights of his fellow countryman. Because the act of allowing another's right to be forcefully removed is voluntarily giving up your own.

"Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what is for dinner. " Ben Franklin

I will agree that what we have is mob rule, not majority rule. It was so in ancient Rome as is today. In, politics, various mobs need to be appeased, the individual is but a tool. Unionism is a perfect example as well as the good ol' mafia and drug cartels. Various church organizations are mobs, various secular organizations are mobs, corporations are mobs and their organized industries are mobs. The military and government employees themselves are mobs. And billions of dollars are spent by these mobs to keep their rackets going. The free and sovereign individual is the perpetual minority upon which Liberty truly depends.

Patrick Henry, Red Hill

The American Ideal is that of the Sovereign Individual, a majority of one.

But we do have majority rule . The majority of the supreme court.
