Give us our Soma, Freedom is Slavery, Be Happy in Your Work, Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Reply E Archer, NYC J Carlton, Calgary (5/9/22) It was only a matter of time... Now the Internet is spying on everyone, and '1984' has entered the 21st century. Reply E Archer, NYC kristyn, stratford (4/25/22) Yes, John Adams stumbled with the Alien and Seditions Act. A newly free press was quite the jolt. Luckily Jefferson fixed it. ;-) 1 Reply E Archer, NYC Terry Berg, Occidental, CA (4/25/22) The definition is only subjective if you play semantics. What is 'goodness?' Twist the meanings of good and bad, right and wrong, truth and lies, and you can justify anything.Start with telling the truth = good, deceiving = bad. Reply E Archer, NYC E Archer, NYC (4/25/22) "Slavery is a mental condition, and only the truth and a willingness to take responsibility for oneself is required to reveal the bondage, then the trick is getting out!"Indeed! Reply E Archer, NYC Logan, Memphis, TN (4/25/22) Hear, hear! Thanks, Logan. Reply E Archer, NYC Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown (4/24/22) Substitute the word 'Socialist' with the word 'Freeman' and you will have hit the nail on the head. Reply E Archer, NYC E Archer, NYC (4/24/22) Unfortunately, we saw... Trump will have had 4 years to vet a LOYAL cabinet, and he'll need it. No more swamp creatures in MAGA country! 3 Reply E Archer, NYC Mike, Norwalk (4/24/22) Again, Fred the Socialist demonstrates the slippery slope of human regulation — eventually you end up with a panel to determine whether to respect the rights of someone or not — if they are not in alignment with our ideals, they are not even 'human' and treated as such. This is a common trait among the do-gooders "quest to create a natural crime free setting for our species" — i.e. total control. BTW you can't create something 'natural' in fact that is the exact opposite of natural. This is fascism, pure and simple. Reply E Archer, NYC Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown (4/22/22) Fred, you have managed to make a clear and intelligent statement. Congrats. Reply E Archer, NYC Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown (4/22/22) Fred, you play games redefining words, appropriating the exact opposite meaning in order to prop up an unsustainable argument for "The World According to the (one and only) Socialist, Fred Sillik." A legend in his own mind... Reply E Archer, NYC Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown (4/22/22) Fred, what's the difference between "Mother Nature" and "Nature's God"? Reply E Archer, NYC Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown (4/22/22) Socialism creates nothing. It is the grand appropriator. Reply E Archer, NYC 4/22/22 re: Buddha quote Amen. Reply E Archer, NYC Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown (4/22/22) Fred, please take your meds. Aung San Suu Kyi is perfectly clear. Your point-of-view is so ungrounded and unintelligible, sanity seems insane. Reply E Archer, NYC J Carlton, Calgary (4/22/22) Knowledge and truth will get you there, not necessarily an "education." An education of partisan politics is not truth. A real opportunity to learn the truth about how things work is a blessing today. The socialists project only, they never stop. They become no different than the fundamental religionists they condemn for their 'hate.'Know the truth about evil — there is no bypass. Reply E Archer, NYC 4/22/22 re: Immanuel Kant quote In Nature, intention precedes creation. An apple seed's purpose is built-in. Pick a living creature and observe its body and impeccable design characteristics. The study of biology, chemistry, physics, language, music, religion, power reveals incredible order and demonstrates Natural Law. Purpose is revealed. Yes, I bring purpose to my life, but I endeavor to be in harmony with what appears to be 'the big purpose' built into Nature itself. What is the source of the intention of the creation of this world? Words may not ever suffice, but during the Age of Enlightenment the source and creator was referred to as "Nature's God." Reply E Archer, NYC Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown (4/21/22) Gibberish and unintelligible. Reply E Archer, NYC 4/19/22 re: Edward Abbey quote It appears that the religion of socialism is the reigning creed of the day. "Yes we can!" The religion of collective power. Reply E Archer, NYC Mike, Norwalk (4/19/22) I love the stories of personal spiritual experiences. The revelation of the truth and "what's so" is so empowering — this is the way. Thanks, Mike. 2 Reply E Archer, NYC 4/15/22 re: Bertrand de Jouvenel quote 'Democracy' has been getting a lot of play recently. Somehow the world thinks that the US is a democracy and that all the world should be democracies, maybe even one world government democracy. ;-)Just another sad example of the deliberate dumbing down of Americans in the progressive movement towards supremacy of the State. Statism in all its forms (i.e. socialism, communism, fascism, dictatorship, monarchy, empire) is absolutely anathema to liberty and a republican form of government founded upon the natural-born and inalienable rights of We the People. The view that We the People everywhere are born free and without obligation to the state is is what America is supposed to export, not to import global statism.
