Bush ushered in the global police state with the Patriot Act under a state of national emergency which has never been lifted giving the Executive unlimited powers. The right of habeus corpus is gone. Emergency powers are what it is all about because then the Constitutions can just be put on hold. Governors have been abusing that power all year in 2020 and continuing now into 2021. The China virus lockdown is founded upon one of the greatest frauds perpetrated on Western civilization. CDC reports zero cases of the seasonal flu in South America for 2020, and the number of Covid cases match the previous year's flu numbers. Nothing to see here... Reply E Archer, NYC Mike, Norwalk (1/2/21) Thank you, Mike! Well said! 2 Reply E Archer, NYC David L. Rosenthal (1/2/21) I am no atheist, in fact my sacred view of the Universe is much larger than yours. I have pursued truth, and the truth HAS set me free! Playing God is not new — it is a very popular game with very serious consequences. Power corrupts, and those that believe that their actions are sanctioned by God are the biggest abusers with a clean conscience. The Common Law is what America is based upon. There are no statutes or rules other than to respect the rights of one another. Whenever there has been a violation of those rights, the case may be brought to court. The government has not been authorized to write statutes for the Common Law other than State and National Constitutions! The government may only make 'laws' for the commercial law jurisdiction to enforce contracts and promises-to-pay. These laws carry NO criminal penalties; they can't. Any violation of the Common Law is to be tried in a Common Law court. But with the introduction of commercial paper for all transactions, all users of these coupons are subject to the rules of their issuance, placing all within the commercial law jurisdiction. The biggest deception is that we believe we are 'buying' things when in fact we are merely transferring liability for these assets which are actually owned by the issuers of the currency. We are essentially renting our lives and we must keep paying forever. Soon thereafter, criminal penalties were created for commercial contract violations. And then the plethora of laws emanating from Congress exploded! Every law is about money — who can take from whom. The government has been reduced to a clearing house for the Central Bank. There aren't any more Common Law courts for the common man to take their case. SO a 'crime' is whatever they say it is. But in reality, a crime is any corruption of the truth, for which there are unavoidable consequences. 1 Reply E Archer, NYC 12/31/20 re: E. B. White quote I would say that the only real bounds to liberty are the rights of others. We must always take responsibility for the response. 1 Reply E Archer, NYC 12/26/20 re: Dwight D. Eisenhower quote House arrest for most of the civilized world has been in effect for nearly a year now. How much more of this are we going to take? Reply E Archer, NYC 12/26/20 re: Alfred E. Newman quote Congress is filled with millionaires; how does this happen on a government salary? The Clinton's, Gore's, Kerry's, Feinstein's, Pelosi's, Biden's, and yes even Obama have become famously rich. Surprisingly, the richest members of Congress are Democrats, their source of wealth usually being inheritance, government contracts, and the fruits of insider information. Let's face it, de facto government is legalized crime, and there are lots of people who want to get in on the very lucrative act. 41Reply E Archer, NYC 12/24/20 re: Ronald Reagan quote In school, history class was taught as 'Social Studies' — why the change in terminology? American History is no longer a required subject in High School, nor do colleges seem to care. Americans are taught that the USA is a democracy — it is not, never was. As a result, the government has been able to usurp the sovereign powers of the People. Declaring states of emergency indefinitely in order to enforce unlawful dictates has become a racket — everybody wants in on the act. Chicken Little and Henny Penny are running for president, and apparently won. Is there nothing Americans won't fall for any more? 1 Reply E Archer, NYC The Dude, Warrensburg (12/24/20) Love it! 1 Reply E Archer, NYC Logan, Memphis, TN (12/24/20) Thank you, Logan! This is the crux in consciousness of the collective and the individual — which is paramount? Reply E Archer, NYC 12/23/20 re: Sir Winston Churchill quote I'm going to have to wait a couple weeks before I can comment on this one ... ;-) Reply E Archer, NYC 12/23/20 re: Francis Bacon quote The search for truth includes skepticism of the results. Best to simply speak truthfully, and allow the truth to be humbly revealed. Reply E Archer, NYC 12/23/20 re: Lord Acton quote "all too frequently men with the mentality of gangsters get control" This is precisely why the USA has a Constitutional, republican form of government, to check power. The lust for power will always reside in the hearts of some men — and they must be countered or else.We need only look to the leftist governors today to witness their drunkenness' with power. Never let a crisis go to waste, eh? 2 Reply E Archer, NYC 12/23/20 re: John Philpot Curran quote "Eternal vigilance" — it's not optional... Reply E Archer, NYC defdef, trobulesome (12/23/20) No, the system Sherman is talking about is a fiat central banking system for all the world which allow the banks to create money out of nothing and lend it at interest to the nations to use as 'money.' This is not capitalism, this is socialism; it is a foundational plank of communism. The central bankers are not capitalists they are governors with the power to crush nations, which they often do to cull the herds and reap profits. Reply E Archer, NYC 12/10/20 re: Felix Frankfurter quote Indeed. The 2020 Election fiasco will be a defining moment in procedural safeguards — otherwise known as "due process." 1 Reply E Archer, NYC 12/9/20 re: Ayn Rand quote I like it! The productive, noble sovereign living in harmony with the Laws of Nature and in fellowship with his neighbors. The truth will set you free. ;-) 1 Reply E Archer, NYC 12/9/20 re: Alexander Hamilton quote The riots have had their effect. Now people are afraid to prosecute criminals out of fear of mob revolt. For the entire year of 2020, we have been subjected to Marxist mob rule. We are still wearing masks and prohibited from social gatherings, particularly anything traditional or Christian. Big business is essential, small business is capitalism which is to be thrown out now. In order to rule us, we must be powerless, and every effort to usurp the power of the people into the government's hands has been employed. It is obvious to anyone who can see.Are we going to let this stand? (!!) Reply E Archer, NYC 12/8/20 re: Bertrand Russell quote Hanging question marks on things long taken for granted is what I do! ;-) (Why?) Reply E Archer, NYC E Archer, NYC (12/8/20) I think the process of searching for the lies I tell myself is the most difficult and the most liberating. 'Fessing up to others is the real challenge. Some things cannot be ignored — they are either dealt with or added to the baggage, which takes a toll. Best to go "all the way." Reply E Archer, NYC 12/8/20 re: Buddha quote The search for truth is inevitably the revealing of untruth. There is no way to liberation from the bondage of lies but by the truth. That's essentially all there is to do. Tell the truth tempered with love, because the truth is like a sword. Have no doubt, "going all the way" is a battle! Reply E Archer, NYC Don Lee, Reno (12/7/20) Inaccurate, Don. Protecting the borders is indeed part of the government's policing "acting as an agent of man's self-defense." The government was chartered to protect the rights of the People, from county, to state, to nation — borders included. Reply E Archer, NYC Mike, Norwalk (12/7/20) I like the lumberman story! It should be a Golden Book. ;-) Reply E Archer, NYC Waffler, Smith (12/4/20) Umm, no, not one bit. Social engineering is NOT what we chartered a representative government for. Sheesh! 21Reply E Archer, NYC 12/4/20 re: Harry S. Truman quote The Biden's have made a family fortune ever since Joe took office. So too the Pelosi's, Feinstein's, and so many more on both sides of the aisle having become multi-millionaires. In case you didn't know, there is a lot of money to be made in politics, and some people go into it for that very reason! Fascism is alive and well in the US government. Trump is independently wealthy and cannot be bought. The snakes have been squirming ever since the light has been shone on them. 1 Reply E Archer, NYC warren, olathe (12/4/20) That's exactly what happened, Warren, right you are.
