When taken in the extreme ("impossible"), the concept as a whole is most accurate. When the peaceful efforts / revolution are met with an "improbable" (Gandhi by example), the result is different.

There must be a differentiating course between violence and revolution. Every upset individual on a mass murder spee probably justifies their action as some kind of revolution.  This reasoning leads me to declare a revolution can only be peaceful.
