Not unusual for an Irish man. Perhaps the inevitable conclusion the Socialism is in fact economic and social suicide had not yet taken hold and was still being toyed with as a workable philosophy. We now know that socialism is a great leveling of all the social classes that removes innovation, motivation and production from human action. There are no poor when there are no rich. There is no productive endeavor when there is no reward. Existence becomes pointless. Without the hope of reward for excellence we are reduced to an ant like mentality. 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/20/09 re: Thomas I. Emerson quote Try exercising free speech outside a G20 meeting and see how fast you invite violence. 4 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/20/09 re: Mark Twain quote Yep! And "Political Correctness holds forth the idea that you can pick up a turd by the clean end." ~ Unkown 4 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/20/09 re: Emma Goldman quote Not crazy about the source, but the words are real enough. Voting has become a complete farce. When "Mr. HopeyChangey" can negate the Constitution by making new "Global Agreements" with the G20 and UN - NGO's, he turns American law into just as complete a farce. Arm up America, they're coming after your Freedom's and Liberties. Its not the American people who are busy subverting other countries...its the Government. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/13/09 re: Justice John Marshall quote The "Amendment Process" is a process by which the government gives itself more power, with little or no input from "We The People". Gee why would anyone deny or question that? 11Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/13/09 re: Cockrum v. State quote Waffler, agreed. Up until they start acting like Nazi's that is.... Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/13/09 re: U.S. vs. Cruickshan quote Rights were, and are rights, before anyone wrote them down. You don't need to be told that you have a right to defend your life. You don't need to be told that property...is "property". You knew these things before you were 10 years old. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/13/09 re: Cockrum v. State quote Here in Canada there is a 70% rate of non compliance to the gun registry. And good on them too... 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/13/09 re: Cockrum v. State quote 10 Stars !!! Dick to answer your question...where are quotations on the other side of the argument...I recommend the 10 planks according to Marx. Something you can relate to? 4 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/13/09 re: Auberon Herbert quote Socialism as an enforced doctrine is a cancer on all things, and like cancer it eventually kills its host. Being "social" is something that comes with free and voluntary associations, personally and professionally. When the government gets into the social engineering business we need to clean our guns....or learn to goose step. The choice is still yours. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/12/09 re: Thomas Jefferson quote I feel a little oppressed every time they take my money so that others can sit on their asses...and do nothing. When they take my money to start an illegal occupation of a foreign country designed to make certain politicians rich. When voting becomes useless because there is zero representation of the people anymore. When the "state" starts running high way road blocks to ask you if you are a citizen. The list just goes on and on...It's a great quote. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/12/09 re: Woodrow Wilson quote Waffler...Hitler was "voted" into power. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/12/09 re: Thomas Jefferson quote Didn't he aslo say - God forbid this country should go 20 years without a revolution? 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/12/09 re: Milton Friedman quote Waffler, What Bernanke and the Fed did was flood the economy with fake money borrowed from thin air. When the Nazi's produced millions of English Pounds to destabilize their economy, it was considered an act of war...I don't see the difference. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/12/09 re: Woodrow Wilson quote It probably seemed like a good idea at the time. Wilson could not have foreseen what a farce it would become. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/11/09 re: Milton Friedman quote Yep! The Fed's manipulation of the money supply and interest rates has been responsible for all the ups and downs of the economy. It is a system of theft run by "International Bankers". The very Banker's our leaders represent to us as opposed to them representin us to the World. And when inflation runs rampant, they blame the greedy capitalists. Its all smoke and mirrors. These parasites need some exposure. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/10/09 re: William H. Rehnquist quote He knew the truth. 6 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/10/09 re: Thomas Jefferson quote Good Lord Waffler, that is some of the most "twisted" thinking I have ever witnessed. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/10/09 re: Justice John Marshall quote Apparently "Patriot" = right wing nut....to the commies I guess. Didn't we fight a couple of wars to get rid of you A**holes? 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/10/09 re: Justice John Marshall quote "We The People" have amended nothing. The politicians made all the amendments and they did so in order to give themselves more power over "We The People". Jefferson was right! Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/9/09 re: James Madison quote We've sure come a long way from this statement...from a Republic of Liberty and Freedom to a Welfare / Warfare State of Imperialism. And speaking of Commerce...if the Taliban had flooded the US economy with counterfeit money as the White House has done...it would be considered an act of war. 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/7/09 re: Alice Walker quote Hey Mike, if you're going to continue "dictating" freedom and personal responsibility, all the while pointing out the rats in the cellar...I'm going to have to keep agreeing with you. Take That! ;-) 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/7/09 re: Alice Walker quote Mike, that's an excellent analogy. I would add though that your vote is also tacit, no, expicit approval of all the corrupt things the elected representatives will do...and get away with. I say stop voting, its a waste of time. It doesn't matter anymore "who" you vote for, they're all corrupt beyond redemption. (Suppose they gave an election...and nobody came?) Previous 25 Next 25 SaveOk2 Share on Facebook Tweet Email Print
