Newton quote Let's see...the facts around the Aurora Theater shooting don't add up. The facts around the Sandy Hook shooting don't add up. The facts around the fast and Furious gun scandal don't add up. As heart breaking as these events truly are...I'm starting to see a pattern here. I think it's an odd coincidence that the fathers pf both the Sandy Hook and Aurora shootings were both scheduled to testify in the Libor Scandal (banking scandal) trial. That's just weird...In any event if the gun grabbers are successful...we do have all those FEMA camps out there...waiting... 3 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/25/12 re: Adolf Hitler quote The only rights we have are the ones the we ourselves can enforce. Hitler paints an accurate picture here of how a tyrant thinks. Something we might note though is that Hitler not only confiscated guns and was able to do so because they were registered, but he had the owners killed lest they have any guns hidden. And that's what gun registries are for... 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/24/12 re: Robert J. Kukla quote "Those" being the most ignorant among us.... Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/23/12 re: Thomas Jefferson quote Proud Army Vet...I'm sorry did I miss something? I don't recall Congress making a Declaration of War. No sir, we're involved in a UN police action under what has become a criminal government. And that you would advocate someone being shot for being against American involvement in Globalist Imperialism is a direct contradiction to your oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. (It's something a Nazi would say) You might want to reconsider what the word "patriot" really means. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/23/12 re: Donald S. McAlvaney quote Hanson, Canada has has registration of handguns since the 1930's and still does. Yet 90 +% of all gun crime in Canada is committed with handguns...how is that possible with them being registered and all? Mine is registered...but it doesn't commit any crimes because it isn't owned by a criminal. See how that works? And in Canada you can buy a semi-automatic AK-47 or CZ 858 or AR-15 with the same licence required for a hunting rifle, they're not considered as restricted at all. An "unarmed" rape victim...an accurate statement usually. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/20/12 re: Nelson Lund quote Sadly the average resonse time to a 911 call is about 23 minutes. And that simply can't be helped. But the response time of a .45 is about 1200 fps. So when seconds count and the police are only minutes away.... Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/20/12 re: Mahatma Mohandas K. Gandhi quote Ghandi understood that basic liberty is always enforced by an armed population. Certainly the government isn't worried about your freedoms. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/19/12 re: H. Sterling Burnett quote Sibonakalo, the UK has become a toilet. Tolerant is not the right word for it. I have watched video of English policemen on the run from mobs of radical Muslims and there was nothing they could do but flee. So are you suggesting they have some ability to protect the public? They can't even protect themselves. The UK is a sad joke and it's values have been completely subverted. "pity, that" Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/19/12 re: Montana Constitution quote Meaning Montana doesn't want concealed carry? Oh well, an exposed holster works just as well. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/18/12 re: Massachusetts Constitution quote Besides the obvious statement of our right to self defense...one of the most basic laws of nature, the standing armies being at the consent of the legislature is very much in question at this time. Our military is no longer "standing" in the defense of the nation, it is on a mission determined by the anti-American UN and performing various police actions of dubious purpose all over the globe. We are party to UN treaties that allow for foreign soldiers at arms to be on American soil in times of civil unrest. If that were to actually occur...we're right back to the original intent of the 2nd Amendment. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/18/12 re: Connecticut Constitution quote Clear, concise and impossible to misunderstand. And it was written this way for damned good reason. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/18/12 re: A Bill Concerning Slaves quote The implication as some have observed is that slaves shall not bear arms. Therefore any attempt to disarm implies that the disarmed are slaves to be disposed of at the will of the state. And Reston...if rights do not pertain to the individual, they are not rights at all. There is no such thing as "collective rights". Just individual rights that pertain to all. We should abolish slavery. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/17/12 re: H. Sterling Burnett quote Nick, this is a Canadian website. If you want something to be exclusively American, feel free to start your own liberty site.Best, JC Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/17/12 re: H. Sterling Burnett quote Hanson are you seriously suggesting that you can wave some sort of magic wand and all the guns will disappear? Get real! You whack job liberals are so far gone in LA LA Land that you actually believe your own garbage. You think that some ink on paper is going to stop criminals? ...what color is the sky on your planet? And thankfully the number of sane Canadians far outweighs you fantasy land freaks...so I'll be staying right where I am with my beautiful Canadian family...ready to defend them and Canada. (you coward) 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/17/12 re: Patrick Henry quote I'd love to ask the Liberals...if you walked in on a group of men raping your 12 year old...would you kill to stop the crime? If not, you have no morals, no spine and are completely unfit to raise children. That you would negate your right and responsibility to defend your families makes you disgustimg and immoral low lives. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/17/12 re: H. Sterling Burnett quote As sad as school shootings are, we must wake up to the fact that making them gun free zones only encourages psychotic killers. They are actually criminal safe zones. We should be looking at this the way the Israeli's do; Teachers and all school staff are armed and trained as they should at least "have the choice" to be in America. And please, never let us be turned into the neutered sheep that the English have become. England is going to be the first western nation to become a total dictatorship. They won't mind though...they're "subjects" (inventory) not individuals. 4 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 12/15/12 re: Richard Salant quote "By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise."
