Tyranny of the majority. A pure Democracy is something the Founders referred to as "mob rule"; Shakespeare also identifies it. I don't think that's what Dr. Vieira is talking about here though. I don't think he's talking about the tyranny of the majority. I think he's talking about the tyranny of a small group of individuals/corporations that fool most of the people most of the time, and in doing so pave the way for a general complacency to their abuses.
