Government and the state, both creations of man to serve man's best interests, have become our rulers and false idols (with feet of clay). The sooner humanity rids itself of these inventions gone beserk, the safer this world will be for all of us.

I wonder if the politicians know this - or even understand it? Or do they understand it all to well?

To simple to interest the vacant mind - a tip of the Occidental iceberg, so to speak. If you cannot comprehend or agree, rubbish it. That's the usual procedure for those incapable of comprehensive thinking.
