Being a Bible believer I accept that the power of government is ordained of God (Romans 13:1). good men governed by divine precept can implement good government. However, I also know that the world is broken and that men are corrupted by sin; therefore, evil men seek power in government in order to oppress and abuse their fellows. This is not the fault of government, but wicked men.
