Man is at the point of his evolution that we do not need termoil to force us to advance. Man is at the stage where peace, love and respect produce greater fruit. PEACE PROFOUND Reply Ken, Milford Pa 6/25/08 re: Mikhail Gorbachev quote Logan, you must be a Lawyer, and like Lawyers you believe that if you sound high minded, then you will intimidate everyone, and then you are right, and win. As to our founding fathers, John Adams, George Washington, and Thomas Paine all stated (in different words) that the purpose of government is to create the greatest amount of happiness for the largest number of the people for the greatest percent of the time possible. It is the governments job to serve the people and not the peoples job to serve the government. You may be a Lawyer, but you cannot school me on Jesus as I am a Minister. Jesus said love God and your fellow man and there is no law against you. Laws are only for those who cannot, or will not do the right thing on their own. The second that a law is written it condems those that it applys to, as it shows a lack of ability to self govern, your own affairs. I normally would not reply, but I felt that silence would give the illusion of error. I do not mean to belittle you only correct. Love and respect everyone, and there is no need for condemning laws. Lets all try to get to a higher level of consciousness. PEACE PROFOUND 2 Reply Ken, Milford Pa 6/25/08 re: Josef Stalin quote The enemies of America know that they can't destroy her by force of arms. We are much too powerful. We can only be destroyed from within. So then it is up to us to determine our own future. Will we remain morally strong, or will we crumble? We were built on the backs of our fathers who were honorable, noble, and moral. We owe it to them to be the same type of people, as well as owing it to future generations to give them the same quality of life that we have enjoyed. Reply Ken, Milford Pa 6/23/08 re: Patrick J. Buchanan quote I watched as Great Lakes Dredging and the Army Corps of Engineers dredged the NY harbor (Hudson-Arthur Kill) because the Japanese complained that it was not deep enough for their new super container ships. So your tax dollars paid for foreign products to pour into the country, putting you out of work. When we need to get into some other country they tell us to dredge, build bridges, tunnels or what ever is necessary. And we do, with your tax dollars again. We get it coming and going. Do you have a nice big warm fuzzy now. But then again, when is the last time that the American government looked out for the American people? Reply Ken, Milford Pa 6/23/08 re: Patrick Cox quote In a society where the individual is responsible for the maintenance of that society, everyone needs to be educated how to fulfil that responsibility. How much more so is this true in America. However we have fallen way short if this responsibility. Our schools, government, churches, and parents, in general tell you how special you are, and what you deserve, but not what you owe to your fellow man and society. If all that we care about is ourselves, then there will not be a future to care about. The bottom line is that the true fulfilment of morality is purely, showing respect for ALL THINGS, AND ALL BEINGS! This is the whole obligation of man. We were recognized world wide as an energetic, determined, and courageous people, that stood our ground, and refused to dominated or bullied by anyone. Where has our manliness gone? People, do not let anyone think for you, think for yourself. Reply Ken, Milford Pa 6/17/08 re: Aldous Huxley quote It is always the thief that is most vigilant on his guard against thieves. The fool will not doubt himself, and will never change his mind, for in his heart he knows all things. The only thing he is unaware of, is his own ignorance. Ancient book of wisdom. Learn how to think for yourself, and never loose that ability. Uniformity and conformity are the enemies of evolution. Previous 25 SaveOk2 Share on Facebook Tweet Email Print
