I hope not, and who thinks democracy is a guarantee for anything? Anything worth having is worth working for. There are NO certainties in life, except Jesus.

But like today, few are actually listening and paying attention, so they go with the flow, not realizing the waterfall ahead.

LOVE Jefferson! I think lack of educated people is also a huge danger from within, in our country. If you agree the solution is simple, The Thomas Jefferson Education. Check it out!

It comes down to what you consider "rich". A truly rich person, has nothing to do with a large bank account, as we have learned as of late.

On the money Mike and Waffler, adults and children should always seek to educate. Mentors and classics was how they did it in those days not the conveyor belt public school system we have today. Public school was for the very poor, so they could learn the basic, three r's. It wasn't meant to "educate". That my friends is something we do ourselves, and I know that this group DOES.

Right on! Not only that Jim, but the mortgage tax deductions are proposed to be much smaller also. Why get the prices down? It would be better to rent!

I agree with Tony and Jim. Recently I was told to "basically" quit complaining and do something, because it's not over yet. I intend to do just that and maybe you would also be interested, if so, go to the following website. We have more rights than the"government" allows. If I want to sit naked on my couch all day smoking cigarettes and eating BigMacs, I have that right. I have a right to become a slob or a successful entrepreneur. Not a monopolistic capitalist! But a red blooded American who owns their own small business and works hard to take care of my family. One step at a time. Help us spread the word, and please feel free to invite others!
