Samuel P. Hays Quote

“The root of the evil... lay not in corruption but in the system which bred it, the alliance between industrialists and politicians which produced benefits in the form of tariffs, public lands, and federal subsidies.”

~ Samuel P. Hays

Chicken or Egg? Whichever came first?!

This would be a fairly accurate description of non military fascism. The system we live under today. It amazes me that we have agreed to it, but then, it isn't taught in schools...is it?

J Carlton summed it up well.

He's right, we aren't dealing with the problem now, but the consequences...Incidentally, the root of all evil stems from , the love of money.I Timothy 6:10

J. Carlton, well said. Is there any doubt that military fascism is the next step if resistance rises? Rhetorical question as it is just asked to stir the spirit of freedom of anyone who might get the message. Again, you nailed it.

J. Carlton & Anon said well. "- - - all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed" (Declaration of Independence)

E Archer, NYC

Indeed. The systems run on their own now with no one accountable except those who hold the reins of the monopoly at the expense of the citizenry.
