yes, I agree there some truth in this statement and there is potential for harm if misused. I see a lot of people in my part of the world who have some genetic defects and keep producing very defective and severely handicapped off springs. This is due to ignorance and local customs. A very large number of people give birth to a form of anemia, which has been eradicated by government intervention in Iran and other conservative Muslim countries but not in Pakistan for fear of religious groups. I know over use of this doctrine could lead to other problems.
