yes, I agree there some truth in this statement and there is potential for harm if misused. I see a lot of people in my part of the world who have some genetic defects and keep producing very defective and severely handicapped off springs. This is due to ignorance and local customs. A very large number of people give birth to a form of anemia, which has been eradicated by government intervention in Iran and other conservative Muslim countries but not in Pakistan for fear of religious groups. I know over use of this doctrine could lead to other problems.

America itself practiced this in the early 20th century. Mental health patients were sterilized.

It is sad but true, Mir, Karachi, Pakistan, thank you for speaking up. In years past when Doctors where more in control of their environment, culling of the base and handicapped was a common practice in the delivery room. Incest along with disease was at the root cause. Lessoning the burden on society. They were termed still born, for the parents sake. It is a pure farmers mentality to cull the less fortunate. Manipulation of the masses, corralled into unsustainable cities brought on by elite socialistic agendas around the world. What will they do ? Seeing we have to many slaves ? Certainly the elite will not set them free. There is no profit for trade, nor will they give back their land which was stolen to begin with. There are not to many people, but rather to many little kings and queens which profit from an enslaved peoples. When wealth is the key to liberty and freedom, all else are slaves and servants.

Ignoring the policies that created such massive poverty and then eradicating the poor through sterilization and abortion IS the policy! Even if you eradicate all the desperately poor, those just a bit richer than them will be the 'new' poor -- thus we will never eradicate poverty. Like the 'poor' in America who have homes, electricity, water, waste removal, TVs, iPhones, cars, health care, education -- yet it isn't enough! You won't find that among the Chinese who will work for a few dollars a day with nothing but a futon and a hot plate until they can afford more.

The current power base and unchecked money lenders preying upon peasants. Feed a bird makes it a slave, deny a person a piece of ground to live and die on, makes them a slave. Knowledge and strength allowed to flourish in a natural state of liberty and freedom sets the natal agent free. This natural state of liberty and freedom being destroyed at all cost at an accelerated rate. The Chinese are a people rich in faith, strengthening the poor with patience. As were my parents who became rich in knowledge to bettering themselves in a slave based society, knowing the State owns ALL !
