The more I read the Founding Fathers, the higher I look up to Them. And... "...let us treasure our differences" also sounds nice. But "...give away" is only the right thing to do when based on reason and truth, never based on the majority. Like Ben says on two wolves and a lamb deciding on what to have for dinner...

What leader, having so much power in their hands, were more thoughtful and considerate with their followers than the American Founding Fathers? They were constantly reminding each other and themselves of the necessary caution with power. It is for a reason that they will live for ever!

Nice that she admitted it. She must have calculated how many slaves and for how long the United States held in history compared to all the other countries on earth, where they all but take the name "slaves".

"All men are created equal", and even those who are born under a regime where liberty is taken from them right at birth deep inside learn and understand that God gave them the right to "life, liberty and the pursue of happiness". In order to keep all these three elements those people must fight - and fight to win - so they will not lose the first. So many, instead of fighting to preserve their liberty, come and live in the United States... an easier solution to preserve God's gifts.

I don't think age really counts for one to know what their limitations are. A juvenile can figure that out about him/herself just as well as an adult can and many times a juvenile can't figure that out about him/herself just as an adult cannot. As far as Rush Limbaugh, I can only say it must feel good to make so much money while defending your principles. And the people behind all that money must also feel rewarded, either financially or morally. Mr. Smith did not produce a self-sufficient illustration.

I agree. And the United States is the only country where the Government can be - and is - stopped when it is trying to stop free speech. What the Founding Fathers built here is indeed remarkable.
