Thatcher, ever the English politician, neglected to say that people went to America to be free from the influence of corrupt tyrannical government. I'm sure she knew exactly what she was doing when she left that fact out.

That's why so many countries try to model their government after our constitution. Thatcher may be English, but who wants to bring up the "tyrannical" past when it was clearly not working for them!

What a difference a couple hundred years makes. Now the world is laughing at Mr. Obomunist Goodwrench and his house of horrors. The foundation has been chipped away until now, it is no longer recognizable.

Thatcher also said:"The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money" ...and that's where we are now after many administrations have had their way with American Freedom. It's time to clean house folks. Vote them all out in November.

Troddle what does that mean. Did you intend perchance to say trollop. How come she was followed by Tony Blair for like 8 or 10 years. Maybe because her government was something most of the people were trying to escape, hey. Most Englishmen came here for the freedom to make a killing by growing crops with slave labor, then the new world poisoned the old world with cancer from tobacco and obesity from sugar.

I remember when her tax code was going to be $830.00 per person in the household. That sounded great to me and i hoped we would follow their example, but it never was implemented.

True. We know of course that when a politician tells a truth, they are trying to justify their own actions for which the real reason is kept concealed.

Nice that she admitted it. She must have calculated how many slaves and for how long the United States held in history compared to all the other countries on earth, where they all but take the name "slaves".

I love the Iron Lady. As an American, I deeply regret not having the chance to vote for her!

Unfortunately, it was only a handful that were enlightened and that soon went once the Christian far right and the slavery took over... Today, America has become a hot bed of far right conservatism.

Socialism abides on both sides of the isle. It was the " Old " right wing Conservative, inwardly Christian that broke the chains of slavery, to Free the Guilty conscience from the deception used by politicians and preachers to maintain control of, and keep the slaves as slaves. Once justified and freed, Reckon it to be so, and quickened by the Spirit of Liberty ordained. One must claim liberty to have it ! Doctrinal knowledge withheld for the purpose of controlling slaves. The protestant reformation began with the discovery of deception practiced by the so called " Church and State " working in concert . This practice is sickening and cruel in the greatest degree ! As my teacher told me, it is hard for people to realize the state thy are in ! Bound by the chains of a guilty conscience, unduly so. It is a sad and defeated soul who would be put under such a heavy chain and yoke of bondage. We battle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness in high places within the church and state. If not for the Core of True Believers, Liberty would be lost. The Spirit of Truth and Liberty lives on from generation to generation. Thank God for his Mercy. We are the sanctuary of Liberty before the world. Even though the outward appearance is defiled !
