Who has a higher claim to my person and the fruit of my labor? No one, I think. The tax "I owe" was monies borrowed before I was born. Not exactly taxation with representation. It is extracted from me with the threat of a gun. The definition of armed robbery. I love the quote, but sometimes when a robber points his gun at you and demands your wallet, you just give him your wallet. Reply Howard, Bangkok 10/31/17 re: Patrick Henry quote Amen Reply Howard, Bangkok 10/31/17 re: John Adams quote unsigned social contract? Adams should have had a conversation with Spooner. 1 Reply Howard, Bangkok 6/20/17 re: John Adams quote Hope he's wrong. Sure he is. 1 Reply Howard, Bangkok 6/7/17 re: John Ehrlichman quote Wow, wtf? 4 Reply Howard, Bangkok 2/20/17 re: James Madison quote How do you that when their is only 1 Ron Paul and Jefferson is dead. 51Reply Howard, Bangkok 2/16/17 re: Benito Mussolini quote I love it when totalitarians are brutally honest. 4 Reply Howard, Bangkok 2/10/17 re: Horace Greeley quote Now this guy knew what he was talking about. It's no wonder he didn't win the presidency. 1 Reply Howard, Bangkok 2/10/17 re: Harry C. Bauer quote Not sure about this one. What's wrong about America is its corrupt banking system and its penchant for socialism and very few people are talking about or many are denying it. 2 Reply Howard, Bangkok 1/25/17 re: James Madison quote The proper function of government, far removed from what it is today. However, since no government has ever done this and probably never will, when will we finally realize the folly of wanting a government and wanting to be governed? Doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. The sane thing to do, would be to throw off the chains of government altogether. 1 Reply Howard, Bangkok 1/25/17 re: Indiana Code quote The problem is that "reasonable force" must be lethal. No policeman would ever allow you to resist just a little bit. Even when using unlawful force against youand you resist, the policeman will never say, "ah, your right, never mind, please go about your way. If you do not submit, the policeman WILL threaten deadly force. When is it OK to shoot a cop? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gD30kLV70CQ 1 Reply Howard, Bangkok 1/23/17 re: Noah Webster quote + Waffler, hate speech? Are you retarded? You're probably not, but just blindly spewing leftist talking points. You can also count on the left to scream racist when they don't have an argument. How the fuck is stating a position or an opinion hate speech? Especially in this case. He may or may not have been born in the US. One thing is for sure, his Hawaiian long form birth certificate posted on line has been proven to be a 100% fraud, by two different independent forensic labs from two different continents. Obama could have put this to rest if he had been born in the US, by providing the paper copy of the birth certificate. Instead he has spent millions in tax payers money to hide his birth and school records. If you are looking for liars and haters, look no farther than Obama. 1 Reply Howard, Bangkok 1/11/17 re: Thomas Fuller quote Seems J Carlton missed the point. Reply Howard, Bangkok 12/27/16 re: Patrick Henry quote Holy shit, that's a good one. Very Shakespearean. Reply Howard, Bangkok 11/16/16 re: Lysander Spooner quote Lysander Rocks!!! 2 Reply Howard, Bangkok 10/3/16 re: Edmund Burke quote He's kind of right, but the controlling power should not be the state. Could not the controlling power be self restraint or ostracization from the members of society? 1 Reply Howard, Bangkok 10/3/16 re: H. L. Mencken quote It looks like Dick lacks critical thinking skills. 2 Reply Howard, Bangkok 10/3/16 re: H. L. Mencken quote Socialism is not the opposite of fascism. They are both totalitarianism and are politically on the same side of the political spectrum, opposite of anarchism. The only difference is one is international and the other is national. Reply Howard, Bangkok 3/21/14 re: Publius Cornelius Tacitus quote First half of the quote is BS. The second half is pretty spot on. Corrupt states, yes I know I repeat myself, will have a lot of laws. 4 Reply Howard, Bangkok 3/21/14 re: Blaise Pascal quote I think I understand what he is saying, but it is not well said. Force is always wrong except in self defense. If self defense is justice in his mind, then I agree. Reply Howard, Bangkok 12/12/13 re: John Leo quote LMAO, I would have liked it if he would have put a period at the end of "You can't run a society". How about individuals being held responsible for their actions instead? Reply Howard, Bangkok 12/6/13 re: Nelson Mandela quote Hard to judge a quote from a communist terrorist. 4 Reply Howard, Bangkok 8/8/13 re: Edmund Burke quote Not sure what to think about this quote. In a way, he is right. That is if you consider "The Law" as a controlling party, the fact that we have no right to infringe on the liberty of another except in self defense. Also, if you consider that we usually have the government we deserve. If we insist on infringing on the rights of others, do we not deserve the same from our government. Do we not need to fix ourselves before attempting to fix others? I don't know, am I making sense? Maybe I need to research the context. Next 25 SaveOk2 Share on Facebook Tweet Email Print
