I noticed that tendancy in my youth, but I later learned that all of us have differing chapters in our lives with different purposes and characters. Why should I envy another's prosperity? I wish others to prosper as I wish myself to prosper -- we are not all going to prosper equally at the same time or in the same amount. That is life.

Very accurate observation! Those pridefully ignorant and otherwise criminal low lifes that would forcefully share the wealth are incapable of true compassion, love, truth and the higher ideals and principles that would prosper the species.

Honor and envy does not go together in any form.
