C. S. Lewis Quote

“What assurance have we that our masters will or can keep the promise which induced us to sell ourselves? Let us not be deceived by phrases about 'Man taking charge of his own destiny'. All that can really happen is that some men will take charge of the destiny of the others. They will be simply men; none perfect; some greedy, cruel and dishonest. The more completely we are planned the more powerful they will be. Have we discovered some new reason why, this time, power should not corrupt as it has done before?”

So sad this is not only true now, it was true in 1958, and WE ARE STILL ASLEEP. Join the revolution at lp.org

The corrupted power mongers of the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land have established a destiny of pain, suffering and destruction. Such statist theocracy's ever expanding: compelled compliance, license, victimless crimes, larceny with impunity, realm of diminishing rights, wanton destruction of commerce and government of carnally depraved men (as is averse to government of law) are all antithetical to 'Man taking charge of his own destiny'. The masters have continued to lie, deceive and kill America's soul (its birthright of freedom, liberty, law and justice) for a never delivered bowl of pottage.

"What assurance have we that our masters will or can keep the promise which induced us to sell ourselves?" NONE! Why do we keep electing folks that promise to save us from ourselves -- who can save us from them?! We need a servant government that is kept in check, not a dictatorial State that keeps us in check. I read the entire article 'Willing Slaves of the Welfare State' -- pass it on. http://liberty-tree.ca/research/willing_slaves_of_the_welfare_state
