C. S. Lewis Quote

“Here, I think, lies our real dilemma. Probably we cannot, certainly we shall not, retrace our steps. We are tamed animals (some with kind, some with cruel, masters) and should probably starve if we got out of our cage. That is one horn of the dilemma. But in an increasingly planned society, how much of what I value can survive? That is the other horn.”

Very well stated. The EMP that is sure to come will demonstrate the accuracy of the statement when the cage is destroyed. The totalitarian dictatorship of the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land has continued to increase the heat of the boiling pot, all the sheeple huddled in their increasingly planned society will soon meet the other horn. The government's seminaries and industrial media complex have done a great job in dumbing down the rabble and making helot, serf and slaves of a once free and self reliant / responsible people.

Another C.S.Lewis quote. "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victims may be the most oppressive."

Who is to say, they, the Neanderthals do not walk among us today. There propensities serve them well, considering independence is a responsibility of mind and body in action. Their forward leaning for taking risk when needed. Most if any have no idea what so ever.

I have certainly given this a lot of thought having been through 9/11 in NYC -- New Yorkers have always known something big could happen here that would leave millions stranded and without power. We'll deal with it, as will the rest of the world will have to deal with their own potential destruction. I've been picking up various survival skills over the years -- I am not a prepper except for knowledge on living off-grid and as close to the land as possible. But the real security will be the common fellowship of the community which always is the source of real security.
