Thank you J. Carlton; but the egregious actions of Regan, Mulroney and both Bush Sr. and Jr. far outstrip any recent acts of Mr. Harper. He is only completing the actions that the Triumvirate of Evil (Regan, Mulroney and Thatcher) set in motion thirty years ago. I'm a little surprised that you're against this unification and the ipso facto establishment of the conservative dictatorship of our world. I thought this would be something you would be cheering.

L Hanson, I would be all for open borders in a society that treats liberty and freedom with respect and harbors a system of Justice. But that isn't what is happening. What we are seeing is yet another step towards a "Global Government" that has control of absolutely everything as its end goal. The notion that it's being brought about (in Canada) by a Conservative government is irrelevant in that all administrations have had their part in it. This I can not abide.

How is someone that is completing thirty years of egregious actions, obviously expanded more egregious than original, not as bad or worse than those that implemented such? Mike, I think Hanson is referring to the "Neo-Con" movement. Which to people like us would probably be as vile as the "Progressive" movement...which when you boil it down...are the same movement.

This quote could be describing a bureaucrat who says "I'm from the government and I'm here to help you".

Well-meaning, but misplaced honesty can be just as devastating as out-and-out liars. It's when people can't tell the difference betweeen one and the other that the real harm is done. Liberals are so atuned to bold-faced lying in order to advance their agenda, they don't even understand the concept of honesty. To liberals, everyone lies, it's just natural to them.
