Loosing the right to be different is one of the signs and events that expresses a lose of freedom. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 1/24/11 That each of us is an individual, therefore different is a given. What a bland and miserable world the communist progressives want to inflict on us. Reply cal, lewisville, tx 1/24/11 Wouldn't the government love for us to be faithful androids. Reply RBESRQ 1/24/11 That's why America is not a free state... Until the people see the criminality of our politicians and corporate leaders the sooner we will have an informed nation - but, alas I do not see this.... Freedom is most definitely a privilege as most do no work to obtain it. P.s. I like the recent alliance between Ron Paul and Nader for a third party. Reply Publius 1/24/11 Liberty is a right, not a privilage. God has blessed us with liberty and damned us with the responsibility of keeping it. We must accept our differences and allow each other to express clashing opinions and ideas; and we must force the government to do the same. If a populous, group, or individual allows themselves to be silenced and gives up their own ideas and identity to clone another's, they are not free. They have failed in their duty to ensure liberty for themselves and have chosen to fall victim to tyranny. And since they failed to preserve liberty, their children will be forced to either conquer it or live whatever deplorable life they can without it. Reply RBESRQ 1/24/11 God has zilch to do with liberty it's the people that get liberty and it has nothing to do with religion. If God wished to bless you with Liberty he wouldn't need people. It's people who we need to bless for they bless us. Reply Publius 1/24/11 I'm sorry you feel that way RBESRQ. I'm puzzled as to why you atheist envoke such passionate discontent just because my faith is contrary to your opinion. Does my belief threaten you so dearly? Your faith in people rather than God will in the end, leave you greatly disappointed. Once the time comes that people are no longer able to bless you, I pray that God does, as He will for me when I enter the Kingdom of Heaven. And God doesn't nor will He ever need people; people (including you) need God. Reply warren, olathe 1/24/11 the state treats it as a privilage for the conservatives and a right for the left. Reply E Archer, NYC 1/27/11 As long as the right to be different does not require others to conform. Reply Bob, Bobville 10/19/12 SaveOk2 SaveOk2 View CommentsClick to view or comment.
