    i think that means that your body is standing straight to show no fear but really your soul is bent over and ready to back out of whatever it is your doing and its something that you really dont want to do.

    Okay, I can think of several applications that would be explained well by the proverb (such as, a sovereign child of God righteously standing in his Divinely endowed status of inalienable rights and liberty at the laws of nature and of nature's God need eternally NOT, fear a distorted electromagnetic radiation of a carnal statist theocracy's frequency or wave length (it casting a perverted shadow).
