L. Hanson, I have great hopes for Canada and then I read tripe that you write. I'm not a big Fox fan but they are a lot closer to fair reporting than CNN, The new York Times, Public Radio, and nearly all of the rest of the liberal controlled media. Actually, Canada's Prime Minister is a far better leader than the Muslim currently sitting in our Oval Office.

Looks like Hanson has demonstrated the quote quite well. Great Kool Aid, eh? The Canadian CBC News is completely regulated by Ottawa, there is no 1st Amendment to prevent the government to make laws that restrict speech, and the CBC is very limited as to what 'facts' they may broadcast. Journalism has gone underground because the real 'facts' go against all the propaganda that condition the minds of folks like Hanson who would not recognize his bias if he were looking in a mirror. The media always slants their stories to further their owners' agenda, and every reader/viewer should take that into consideration. The concern ought to be not that there are differing and conflicting opinions, but that there are not! The media is becoming more and more centralized with about 20 people deciding what hundreds of millions will see. Considering that Disney now owns the largest chunk of media corporations in the world, we can expect more 'Disneyworld' -- fake, plastic, made for children, and not worth the price of admission.
