Unless by due-process you can rob it from everyone else...

This is true unless the statists cut that hand off of the end of your sleave. He certainly used that hand to extend his term limits beyond the pledge, but it does not diminish the truth and his father took no pledge such as that.

... RESPONSIBILITY ... and yes, term limits are better.

There are others as reliable as ones self. If, it were not for the state of rescue, there would never be a state of Liberty for the individual, or a nation. Responsibility is taught, of two ways, through a nurturing of compassion and respect , or contempt of your fellow human being ! Ego's swell with self accomplishment, when there is not trust or respect for God.

Ron13, thank you

Good point, Ron. Giving a helping hand to another is a blessing, a grace, a gift, and that is what makes it that much more special. We may hope for a helping hand, but in the long run, it is the exception more than the rule. All-in-all, good advice from a father to a son. ;-)

His father was right--that and the Lord.
