Yep! and goes to support Joe Biden's remark about Republicans desiring to put us back into chains. What do we think of people that go to great extent to suppress peoples ability to cast a vote. In many conutries that we may consider inferior to ours they hold elections on Sunday while every one is off and they have an opportunity and easy time of going to the polls. It is and should be a festive time of celebrating our freedom and democracy not a time of recrimination and hatred like the Republican Parties of Florida and Ohio and Pennsylvania wish to make it. With those folk we are headed for oligarchy and it is time for us to rise up and renew our revolution for the individual and the precious freedom to vote.

ABSOLUTELY ! The occupying statist theocracy infesting this land, in taking away We The People's liberty, has taken away ownership, money in harmony with fiscal law, and the foundation of everything else lawful. Such malefactors have taken away the vote from We The People to select those that would represent mine / our individual - inalienable rights. The vote is now reduced to a selection process of choosing the next face of Amerika's jailers. After the great take away of everything, the despots have implanted compelled compliance, license, victimless crimes, and larceny with impunity.

Waff, we are in this mess with the aid and comfort of BOTH political parties, including your beloved democrat party.

Leave it to Waffler to attempt to twist the meaning of the quote to support the Democrats aim of complete submission to the State. The left promises us that after guns have been taken from the citizens and put in the hands of government police and military that we will be safe -- Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Castro said the same thing. And the left seems overly pre-occupied with people paying their taxes -- well, just the Republicans, anyway. They do not recognize any limit to what the State may take from the citizens, forgetting, of course, that the government is but made up other citizens. Each new power grab justifies another and another until we are but slaves to the State. Since Waffler worked for the IRS his comment can be understood in that light. As for the suppression of the vote claimed by Waffler, the only thing being done in Florida and Ohio (battleground states) is the cleaning up of the voter rolls which currently have over 1 million dead people still registered (and still voting Democrat somehow). You can't cash a welfare check without an ID, and you shouldn't be able to vote in an election without a valid ID either. Which begs the question, why are the Democrats against Voter ID but are for gun registration? Hypocrites trying to win by hook or by crook.

Waffler, Smith

Their is nothing wrong with voter ID. But those pushing it right before a major election have stated that their intent is to reduce voting in areas and by populations they do not like or who are against their point of view of, thiot democracy and especially it does not show the respect for each other that democracy should entail. If a candidate wins by fraud and theft of the vote we will have a rotten government.

Mike, Norwalk

Waffler, It is an absolute, the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land is a rotten government. In the last election alone, proper ID (with a check thereon) would have eliminated millions of foreigners and dead people from voting (the Democrat Party would not have done nearly as well as it did. Even with ID, Alabama just experienced an election with pre-printed ballots.

"The one prevading evil of democracy is tyranny of the majority, or rather of that party, not always the majority, that succeeds, by force or fraud, in carrying elections." Lord Acton
Padding the voter both with illegal aliens, when there are not enough dead voters to go around, shows the contempt for honest elections and the one prevading evil of the democratic process.
Monarchies have always understood the ills of a democracy, seeing Americas weakness long ago through a democratic process, setting the stage for siege of a freed people.
