John Stuart Mill Quote

“A general State education is a mere contrivance for molding people to be exactly like one another; and as the mold in which it casts them is that which pleases the dominant power in the government, whether this be a monarch, an aristocracy, or a majority of the existing generation; in proportion as it is efficient and successful, it establishes a despotism over the mind, leading by a natural tendency to one over the body.”

The current statist theocracy that infests this land has successfully contrived, molded and established a socialistic (and otherwise) despotism over the mind and bodies of its helots / serfs / slaves. That same land once supported a free society of individuals at law and individual inalienable rights and sovereignty.

It may be hard to face that we have indeed been programmed rather than enlightened. For many it is too uncomfortable to put their 'knowledge' to the test. For adults that have spent a lifetime being conditioned, the search for truth is mainly exposing the lies to the light. Facing the truth is truly freeing, but such realizations are not without their sorrows...

Yeah, yeah, yeah and Socrates was programming the kids back when and he had to drink the hemlock and die. I guess you guys want to hang all the teachers also. The above four are the least thinking among us so what does that say about their opinons on such an august subject as education.
