Then again, what does this say about those who allow their thoughts to be tampered with? I mean, there are still some who think Iraq had something to do with 9-11. Is that the fault of 'tampering'?

Brilliant! Oh yes this does have something do with the 911 propaganda and shit also the Goebbels quote as well: "During a war, news should be given out for instruction rather than information." -- Joseph Paul Goebbels (1897-1945) Nazi Propaganda Minister http://quotes.liberty-tree.ca/quote_blog/Joseph.Goebbels.Quote.402A

Kahlil Gibran is a favorite of mine. This quote I hadn't read before and I am so glad to have read it today. It isn't just the War in Iraq where this applies or is most dangerous....it is all the little things done many years prior to an event such as an unjust mind. The Nation Mind was being tampered with since Eisenhower warned us of the Military Industrial Congressional Complex. Please see the movie WHY WE FIGHT. It sheds much light on how our National Mind was tampered with all the way back to the 50's - making this war a cake walk for those that profit from war.

Marie, Thanks for the often overlooked insight. You might also want to reference the book OVERTHROW : 'America's Century of Regime Change from Hawaii to Iraq' by Stephen Kinzer. It, to some extent, mirrors WHY WE FIGHT. If you love John Wayne, you'll hate this book. If you want insight, you'll appreciate this book.

this book is excellent. i love the way it's written. it really explains a lot of questions you always ask your self. it gives you the answer and it specifically tells how to do thing the right way from my point of view.

How do you tamper with someone's thoughts other than by lying to them?

I think the morality of the two are to closely tied. If one tends to do one, the other can't be far behind. There is always the exception.

Tampering with people's thoughts is generally a prelude to stealing their possessions (and power). It is the standard modus operandi of the ruling class. How I answer the questions "who am I" and "why am I here" is the object of every tyrant...

A Maronite catholic who met Abdu'l Baha. Seeking a universal religion of peace, Global socialistic nationalism. Scorned by Islam yet embraced by their undercurrent. Twelvers and the prophet to come. Giving rise to the current radical movement of Islam with which and by which the influence spreads. Perhaps high jacked through association and soiled by affiliation. Occultation and end time prophecies.

Is this a reference to the practice of education that the conventional individual appears to reject, however, necessary it is to sustain life.  The conventional child so unaccustomed to it, education so rare in appearance, does refer to it as "manipulation."
     It is not manipulation.   "
