“Who is more foolish, the child afraid of the dark or the man afraid of the light?”

Many, many people are afraid of the truth-the whole truth.

Not  sure what this means, but men are never fearful of understanding and enlightenment. As the man leaves his childhood misguidedness he grows more and more into manhood as more and more understanding is presented.
