He who is sure of his mind and sound of his morals will not undertake the trade of lying.

Unfortunately, politics IS the trade of lying, and the people are conditioned to it.  The truth is not important, only appearances.  We 'buy' the person with the best act.  Nothing but gangsters dressed as lawyers — professional liars.  Who says crime doesn't pay?(!!)
