The despotism of the current criminals leaving their sacred enclaves will only be surpassed by those anointed entering office. The unconstitutional theocracy (atheistic induced social oligarchy) will tighten its destructive reign over the last fleeting gasps of freedom and liberty. He who forgets history (or didn't know about it because it was supplanted by the theocracy's dumbing down) is now reliving it.

This country under GWB has been divisive, full of corruption, greed, and derision. Mike, you have mentality that is a major problem in America and that is that you are guilty before proven innocent. The destructive rain of GWB and his religious right wing fascist's will be the low point in America's history. Obama has already proven you wrong with the choice of Rick Warren. Mike, I don't understand you, one minute you are criticizing atheistic social oligarchy and then the next criticizing theocracy - what are your beliefs so that I may understand your dialogue.

Like 'free speech zones' at political conventions. Or try to criticize Israel. Or make Congress or the President or the Courts address unconstitutional regulations. There's a lot in print these days, but that doesn't mean anything. Ignorance seems to be a pillar in today's de facto oligarchy.

Actually it's much worse than that. You can write about government, politics, religion or anything else. The problem is there's no one who will read it, and if they do they're not likely to understand it. It's easy, popular, even faddish to criticize Israel, Archer. I see marches of several hundred pro-Hamas demonstrations moving down local streets with a few lonely pro-Israel demonstrators standing on the sidelines. It's almost a knee jerk reaction. All of Europe is calling for a proportional response. What they really want is no response. A proportional response would be for Israel to launch 6000 randomly aimed missiles into civilian populated areas in Gaza. I'm sure that would be popular. Hamas is an Iranian controlled and supplied client. Russia supplies weapons to Iran; Iran supplies weapons to Hamas; Hamas lobs missiles at Israel to provoke a response. Unrest means higher oil prices for both Russia and Iran: the real goal.

Robert, I don't believe the religions (organized or otherwise) of the world, including Atheism, Christianity, Islam, etc are any overwhelming problem in and of themselves, or have ever been. Death, destruction, mayhem, the loss of freedom and liberty comes when armed despots claim moral exclusivity and superiority (under any popular religion at hand) claiming a real piety in practice, consisting in the performance of all known duties to their fellow men. Again, religion is "real piety in practice, consisting in the performance of all known duties to God and our fellow men." (Bouviers Law Dictionary) The government through all means available, pits one religion against another to vain claim the moral high ground, associating only with the most popular philosophy of the moment (being covertly created by the government). The Warren court was the last straw in eliminating a nation of individual sovereigns when it claimed inherent right. A new de facto oligarchy was finalized that by definition could no longer be of, by or for the people. It is when the foreign despots attempt to justify their heinous acts in the name of a moralizing philosophy (religion - Atheism, Christianity, Islam, science, etc.) Obama is nothing more than the next executive in the alien oligarchy. The foreign oligarchy that now exists operates as a theocracy; an atheistic socialism being their establishment of religion. Hitler chose a socialism headlined with corporations. Stalin chose no bifurcation of title but out right ownership. In either case, there is no allodial freehold in the US. Socialism is an organized religion that is threatened by all other religions claiming fealty to a higher authority. Atheism, with a lack of morals foundation and higher authority, will continue in vogue as long as its patrons will support false - unprovable sciences as the theocracies party dogma, fight to eliminate philosophical / religious competing threats, and defend the power mongers in office. I could go on but I think you get the point.

Robert, 'A'theism, 'B'uddhism, so called 'C'hristianity - to - 'Z'en are not religions in and of themselves. Socialism, along with the other stated relationships, philosophies, etc. only become religions when their piety (ethics, morals, values, orientation of correctness / enlightenment, etc.) becomes believed sufficiently conventional and sacrosanct that their practice reflects and/or, acts on such. I believe that secular government should be based on natural law. That natural law government (being moral) does not legislate, execute or adjudicate on religion's issues, beliefs or piety.
