Prince Peter Kropotkin Quote

“Freedom of the press, freedom of association, the inviolability of domicile, and all the rest of the rights of man are respected so long as no one tries to use them against the privileged class. On the day they are launched against the privileged they are overthrown.”

~ Prince Peter Kropotkin

The sentiment as a whole is accurate enough with some exceptions. By way of example: the press is currently nothing more than a lazy P.R. tool for the socialists, fascists, and the sheeple, delivering the party line. More specifically, the rights of the individual are almost non-existent (only respected as part of the herd). The curtailment of 'rights' expressions is the advancing rule, not the exception.

Still true today, like it or not. Why do you think there is never any talk in the media about getting rid of the Federal Reserve and returning the currency issuing power to the People? Because they end up getting fired or, worse, dead.

People have no basic property rights any where in North America...at least not under law. That being said, lets not allow the Obammunists to disarm a nation already under siege. I don't know about you...but I don't consider myself "inventory" for a bunch of useless parasites, and when in my house, you are under the rule of natural law.

Well said... Yes, history (and today) is smothered with it.

Our political "owners" certainly give lip service to the natural rights of the peasants, lovers of liberty that they are, but cross them and you'll have every alphabet agency from IRS to BATF to DHS sifting through your life for political reasons. When push comes to shove, the veneer of a lawful society is stripped away to show the banana republic we have become.

Spot on, Pyotr! Still relevant, sadly, in these days of neo-liberalism and global capitalism,
