Liberty is destroyed by socialism, as our government forbids more and more acts of adults.

A.Jurgensen, Stuart, FL

America's version of 'socialism' (read The Republican Right) is Statism and it fits Nozick's quotation to a "T".

F Capitalism.

Over-all accurate enough with a myriad of faux-pas perceptions. For example, by their nature (socialism and capitalism) one is totalitarian while the other is laissez-faire, one does not have to forbid the other, by definitive existence, one can not exist at the same time as the other. Without more context, I'm not sure the intended purpose of: "between consenting adults." A possible reference to laissez-faire?

Patrick Henry, Red Hill

Practical experience has revealed that the process of the perfecting of socialism is a process of the perfecting of the denial of the singularity of the dignity, the sanctity, of the individuality of the individual.

Subjectivity to and dependency on the State does not a dignified individual make.

" Capitalist acts between consenting adults." as a trip many years ago reminds me, the IRS said, we're coming after you independent contracting consenting adults. we want our cut, of your money now, not when you spend it. Walking at Liberty in an ever increasing sea of slaves.
