And through the dictator's propaganda apparatus she convinces the masses that censorship is necessary for security, morality, and the common good of the people and the state.

One cannot expect the government and the press to report on their own misdeeds. That is why most people know nothing about the Council on Foreign Relations (the shadow government of the US with members in every level of government and the media) and the Federal Reserve (no one dares publish anything that questions the new world order).

Censorship and propaganda are the tools of the dictator. A complacent, compliant citizenry are his building materials.
