TertullianTertullian, (160?-230? A.D) Carthaginian “Father of Latin theology”

Tertullian Quote

“It is a fundamental human right, a privilege of nature, that every man should worship according to his own convictions. One man’s religion neither harms nor helps another man. It is assuredly no part of religion to compel religion, to which free will and not force should lead us.”

An ideal yet to be embraced by most religious zealots. Indeed religion can harm another man -- by the millions.

Tell that to the Islamist, who think Israel should be exterminated. Those words hold no truth, but plant seeds of subversion. Very volatile time, for true Christians. The theology, behind Latin, consider the vulgate denying the virgin birth, inspiration of the scriptures, so on it goes. The charge given to some to declare the proclamation, good news, Euaggelistes, Makes clear the distinctiveness of the function in the churches. 2 Tim 4:5, But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. Proclaim Liberty and freedom from oppression. Considering Timothy was set at Liberty ! Secular thugs hold no place with true republicanism. But hold to democ socialism as Gorbachev and Putin. Human values they claim, but deny the rights we hold true. Passive Christians are thought of as good boys and girls wanting to do good. We love life, and liberty. Christ is color blind. Liberty and freedom unite. True to heart and true, to core fundamentals and principals of Christianity. Semper Fi

If a people's foundation and rule is at law, the statement is absolutely correct. If there are patrons of such religion as the atheistic socialists that occupy a once free nation as a statist theocracy (Amerika for example) the statement is incorrect. Any theocracy, "A"theist to "Z"en, holding the concept they can create law out of nothing (instead of legislating codes, ordinances, regulations, rules, statutes, etc. that define the already existing natural law) by definition, are contrary to the quotes sentiment.
