A very insightful man.

Stewart, Dallas

This is a very true statement, and if the American people actually took an honest look . . . they would see is true!

Mike, Norwalk

wow, pick a topic, volumes could be written on this one

For proof of monarchy, check out Nancy(the horrible) Pelosi and her airplane.

Waffler, Smith

Don't know when Jefferson was more wrong. Peaceful transitions of our government is something all Americans should be proud of. The people rule in America.

cal, lewisville, tx

That is what we are trying to figure out Waffler. Which people rule in America?

Will tend to proto-fascism which will fortify itself from day to day, instead of working its own cures - see Teresa Centric's "Is Modern USA a Proto-Fascist State?" Mike, lets start...

jim k, austin

Poor old Jefferson. How disappointed he would be if he knew Waffler disagreed with him.

Elisabeth, Astoria, NY

Agree with Jim k. Thomas Jefferson wouldn't fall asleep.

Mike, Norwalk

Robert, I smile - start what? I think today the monarchy is represented by a deep state monastic oligarchy reigning over the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land. We can't hardly even discuss concepts since, words and their definitions (such as left, right, liberal, conservative, socialism, fascism, law and liberty) have so radically changed. (-; What year definition would you like to start on to discuss the "Proto-Fascist State"? ;-)

Patrick Henry, Red Hill

Currently, a somewhat less overtly sanguinary inverted monarchy of the kakistocratic Russo-Teutonic sort.
