Vladimir Ilyich Lenin Quote

“The bourgeoisie is many times stronger than we. To give it the weapon of freedom of the press is to ease the enemy’s cause, to help the class enemy. We do not desire to end in suicide, so we will not do this.”

I'm not quite sure how to rate this. 5 stars for accuracy. Lenin obviously didn't want the middle class (or less than rich affluence) to have ability to accept, become acquainted with or spread freedom (by the press or any other means). He knew the consequences was death to his endeavors. - OR - should I rate this with a thumb's down because how the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land insures the ignorance of tyranny.

Freedom of the press gives the socialists the hold they need to condition the masses. Gradually the press becomes merely an instrument for social control and is regulated heavily. Social networks are proving to be the next step in cultivating attitudes and opinions that promote the authoritarian state to regulate 'hate speech' etc. The promises of socialism are lies -- exposing the lies is suicide, propping them up is, well, socialism.

Using the spark of Liberty to further socialistic intent. Welfare shows lack of trust in the Creator who would have all at Liberty. Being the request made, it shows the worlds contempt for our Creator and Liberty at natural law.
