Brilliant thinker. Not sure what he meant here though.

Russ, Boston

I agree, the internet, for instance is definitely an empire of the mind. But just whose mind? And what does it have in store for all of us, or many of us?

Mike, Norwalk

Not sure how to rate this or comment with stars. As to the mind, once perverted, so goes the body. The statist theocracy pulling the missionary strings of the Amerikan empire is seeking more than the mind, but the body and soul also. The Chinese standard, being the new hegemony mind game in town even has the Amerikan emperor bowing at his presence.

Wow! I didn't know he said this but if he did it puts a new light on the man, one I like.

Smart words

It sounds wise to me. If he means what I want it to mean, I give it 5. I would assume he was speaking of the end of the era of empires (British, French, Belgian) and, though he was a defender of the virtues of the British one, he probably foresaw its demise and hoped the future held something more intellectual.

Indeed! Protect your brain.

Oh Winny's  got something here, for the mind is infinite in it's capacities, as I have said before. However, I don't really care for the empire association, but for Winston Churchill empire was the supreme. The scientific individual refers to the mind,
as a popular television program referred to space, a frontier. Its a frontier to be explored. I will, despite the assertion of that popular television show, say, however, that the mind is the final frontier. For life or anything else without the mind to acknowledge it, simply doesn't exist.
