Mike, nevertheless, my GPS generally tells me which way to turn at an intersection. As to praying for the sick, I figure that someone may be healed regardless of prayer. Praying that someone will get well, and they do, is anecdotal evidence and doesn't prove cause and effect.

I am an "aged person" and I don't want to go back in time and live through the 40's and 50's again. Old people like me tend to think that the "Good Old Days" were better than now. People tend to remember the good times they had and to forget the hard times. With all the problems facing this country, I would not want to go back.

Perhaps global climate is real but a lot of people disagree. The question then comes, does human behavior cause this or does something else. Records show that climate change has happened over and over in the past million or so years. Perhaps climate change will be beneficial to the world. A good argument against global warming is the fact that the idiot, Al Gore, is pushing the idea.
