It is (past) time to overthrow King George W & his jesters!

A statement King George W & his jesters would be proud of... a hearty round of oil war profits for all!

Concessions do not mean unwarranted compromise of core values... lest we forget, killing is something we're not supposed to want to do either...

Force is not the answer to all of the world's problems... unless one thinks that indeed King George W & his jesters need to be taken out and shot that is...

Or, said another way, "God Bless All Countries". Mike seems to forget that all who call themselves followers of Christ are not really following the ways he laid out... I know that I know many good Christians, sadly I know many more hate mongers who choose to self-label themselves as Christian, yet by your very quote above such hate and that label are incompatable.

Amen Jesus & John. Those from Florida have already shown that they can't even read a simple ballot to vote, that one of them would misinterpret a quote such as this, which clearly condemns the unjust occupation of a foreign nation by the mass murderer we call King George W holds no surprise. Authority? No, he stuffed the ballot boxes of two elections and lied to the world. Just? No, its about oil and avenging his father. Rightful? No, profits for war mungers and world domination are not rightful.

Clear indication that the founding fathers viewed "the militia" not as individuals run amuck, but rather as organized forces that are formally lead by leaders appointed by the "subordinate governments"... gun control, spoken of and supported by our founders.

A meaningless quote/sentance fragment... yet again... tossing words out on the site that are taken out of context is very disingenuous...

Our fore fathers would not be so dumb as to believe that the course they took in the 1700s would be the right course to take in a very different world 300 years later... they were thinkers as well as doers, both things that few today engage in (or it seems even understand).

Bingo, to bring governance with the same benefits to the entire world, as a single governing body... to celebrate our single species with a single world wide governance. Nationhood is doomed to end just as city-states have.

Marvelous insight shown by this allegory (don't be fooled into taking all he says literally, anymore than the classic collections of stories and fairy tales are to be taken literally).

More fear mungering, the main vehicle of the GOP.

Just as the city state has gone to its death for the benefit of all man-kind, so too will today's "nations".

Religion is not necessary for freedom, nor is "pure virtue"... lest we forget, many of these men were slave holders... they did not allow their wives to vote... and they did not allow non-property owners to vote... many of them had lovers on the side... there was no "pure virtue" to them, and they lacked in many morals.

When you take my civil rights and civil liberties, you take something from me that is far more precious than the insult of any physical assault... you take my dignity... Down with King George W... impeach he and his jester, Tricky Dicky II.

Anonymous, Reston, VA US

Ah for the privacy of one's own bedroom... but King George W & his jesters would take even that from us... Impeach!

Explicit statement by a founding father that those who rule should pursue "the common good of the society", not some static statement in the past of what is the good, but a statement that is alive today for today's needs. Now we must simply impeach those who are harming us. Down with King George W and his jesters!

And it is far past time for congress to do its duty and impeach!

My person is far more at risk due to our social conditions than crime itself. The lack of universal health care is much more likely to cause problems for most of us than any other cause. The lack of good education is clearly causing us problems when people do no understand basic science principles.

As is all to typical for this site, this is not the real quote. As near as I can find, here is the quote, from April 19, 1997: "The Constitution was never meant to be the only set of laws that we follow. I had a blue dress when I was five, but I can't wear it because it doesn't fit me anymore. There are lots of things that change over time and you have a whole bunch of legislation enacted every day, every month, every year that adjusts and calibrates to the times and to the issues...what is perceived to be the best thing for the American people...and these are called laws, and, you know, I think they've been doing a pretty good job." Clearly a case of perverting her words. She spoke of the dress not fitting, and how our constitution is implemented via laws which are undergoing constant change. If anyone should be "deported" it is the unAmerican who want to pervert our Constitution with hate filled amendments or believe that we should all be living in the 1700s still. So, for the quote as it really was spoken, not as others have perverted it!

john-douglas only has half the story... for as government is an invention of humans, so too are religion and god inventions of humans... there is no "god-given role in life", only that which we humans have given to ourselves...

Well said anonymous. The underworld rodent seems to have his history backwards (claiming that Islamics are the first in attack, and then claiming that any who disagree with him should leave our country... neatly demonstrating the ill of his posiiton). Personally, I think the President who would not be King (GW) has neatly outlined why the King who claims to be President (King George W, aka GWB) is a fool... and why we are fools to endure him and his fools chorus. Impeach!

... makes me wonder how many who read this actually read and understand the two key words of "last resort" rather than seeing it as a justification for their pulling out their guns and killing (as likely as not "in the name of Jesus") all who disagree with them... it then goes on to talk about the negitive statement of only having two choices, "to parish to to destroy", failing to see (as TJ & GW saw) that there is a third choice, to build something better. Again, the negitivity of the radical right comes through, sick little boys with their toy guns who just want to "kill kill kill". Real men look for building better, not just destroying those who disagree with them.

Right On Robert! I suspect there is much to be said for the theory http://strangemaps.wordpress.com/2007/06/03/124-jesus-in-india-a-road-map-of-his-lost-years/ (or even the riotious speculation of "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal" by Christopher Moore).
