The corruption that is rampant in our government unbalances the principles of our Constitution, and gives people like Waffler a belief that ordered liberty means compromise. On the contrary, our Constitution does not make our leaders into rulers. If we must be taxed, we should be honored for our decisions of how much and when. In reality, once we give elected officials the power to tax, they use it as carte blanche to rule. Balance goes out the window. 3 Reply Corin, Kingsland, TX 12/7/11 re: John Locke quote All the stars in heaven would not be sufficient to support this quote. John Locke can be considered a defacto Founding Father. Where are more men and women like him now, when they are most needed? This quote should be spread across this wonderful land! 1 Reply Corin, Kingsland, TX 12/7/11 re: John Locke quote All the stars in heaven would not be sufficient to support this quote. I guess that even a socialist has to see some truth at least once. It's still a great quote. 5 Reply Corin, Kingsland, TX 12/6/11 re: George Herron quote Love Jim K's comment. Hope it comes to pass. I'm definitely going to research George Herron. If a socialist could see truth like this fellow, he needs to be quoted to today's socialists. SaveOk2 Share on Facebook Tweet Email Print
