Maybe this was true in 1850, though I doubt it. Today, ALL of the politicians are BLACKMAILED. The FBI keeps blackmail files on the whole of Political Society. ALL of the politicians in the US are on strings. The CIA ensures they are thoroughly corrupted, before they're allowed to hold office. The CIA hosts pedophile sex parties for senior politicians and feeds them drugs and knows every time they accepted bribes. They're getting led around by their short hairs. NONE of the politicians in America have principles. They're a den of vipers. PolyTicks, blood suckers every one.

This is BULLSHIT! You don't have to be "self sacrificial" to be altruistic. You could be bounding effective, successful and prosperous and carry others along for the ride, not because you owe them or need something from them, but because it makes you feel good to see others feel good. If you're not a very effective person, are just scraping by, then altruism might be painful. But in that situation it will probably also be character building and may lead to greater effect and lesser painful altruism. Here's some of what the dictionary says about altruism, notice the stark absence of any notion that altruism requires self sacrifice: Altruism: (1) The principle or practice of unselfish concern for or devotion to the welfare of others ( opposed to egoism). (2) The philosophical doctrine that right action is that which produces the greatest benefit to others (3) The principle or practice of unselfish concern for the welfare of others. To defy altruism is a mistake that leads to easily brutal and treacherous wrecking of the so ego-maniacal. If you do nice things for others, probably most of them will return the favor. If you face many situations where you condemn others to torturous conditions for the sake of your power or enjoyment, odds are good you'll eventually find yourself easily discarded. It's not even worth debating. If you want to make the whole world your enemy, have at ego mania and see how long it lasts for you. Silly ridiculous.

Ahahahahha. And then Reagan gave us "Obama-Phone"... AND he fed fat the now whale sized parasite the military industrial complex and set them loose on a few nations murdering people all over the globe by CIA treachery giving chemical warfare and sponsoring both sides of wars... Reagan ran up more debt than every President before him COMBINED. That's a massive budget for bounties, donations and benefits, ay?

Why dredge up this ancient history and present it as though it were presently relevant? Clinton destroyed the welfare state. There is no more "welfare". Now there is Welfare to Work, which is the program enacted by Clinton which requires that you apply for jobs and take any job that accepts you. Being poor in America is not a choice because it pays better than working. Being poor in America is imposed by the billionaire swine that own the government and all major industry and who care not at all about poor people, in fact these billionaires have made strides to murder people by poverty, malnutrition, homelessness, medical neglect, pollution, housing hazards like mold. They were doing all these same things in 1996 also. Colombia University has done a yearly study since more than a decade back. Their study revealed that in 1999 more than three quarters of a million people died due to conditions related to their poverty. In 2010 it was upto 1.4 million people who died due to conditions related to their poverty. Suicide is more common now than car accidents. You can be sure extreme poverty is a factor in that boost of suicide that was seen in recent years. This is an obnoxious quote to disperse while seeming to relate historical knowledge to present conundrum. This notion that the poor are choosing to soak up welfare rather than accept jobs is bunk on it's face.

Tyrant Scalia... Can't figure out what People's "rights" are... If it can be done without necessarily injuring others, it is a right. According to COMMON LAW, as the constitution guarantees US citizens trial, there are only 2 laws: Do not encroach on any person or their property. AND: Meet your agreements. If you satisfy those 2 legal requisites everything else you might do is your right, as stated in The Declaration of Independence, your RIGHT TO PURSUE HAPPINESS.
