As far as I can tell. Socialism is the 'appropriation' of all.  Everything 'good' is due to 'Socialism.'  'Socialism' recognizes Natural Law (no it doesn't).  Socialism protects people's rights (no it appropriates people's choices).  Socialists claim all men and women are 'produced' equal — who/what has produced people?  Fred's claims about Socialism are merely appropriated from Christianity and republicanism.  They deny 'gods' but hail Mother Nature. Socialism is a lie and a theft of individual power and liberty — it is servitude to the State.

Such is the intent of republican government.  Socialism is regulated life, 'new rules' from man, no recognition of Natural Law.

What price is Liberty?  Do you not understand that the difference between a republican form of government and socialism/communism/fascism/monarchy/dictatorship is your Liberty?  What happens to 'my body my choice?'  You have no choices without Liberty.  The solution to poverty is not the subjugation of a People to be ruled.  What responsibility do YOU have to help the poor — even yourself?

That's going to be too much for "the Socialist."  We must pity the poor soul's mental gymnastics for trying to put a square peg in a round hole.  The only way a socialist (traditional meaning) can justify the violence he condones against those who will not follow commands, is to twist his/her mind into apparent paradoxes and monolithic thinking.  It's gotta be nuts in there.

I doubt Dr Fuller has made such an assumption.  I have met plenty of Christians that live according to their beliefs — Orthodox Jews, Muslims, and die hard communists that live according to their beliefs, too.  But I would agree that hypocrisy is rampant — particularly among the most vocal proponents.

Back for round 2 of the Obamanation with war in Ukraine.  The deep state so wants a come-back.  So many establishment politicians have been profiting off the corruption in Ukraine — the Biden's have been complicit for decades.  The Green New Deal benefits from the entire escapade — which is why not much is being done to stop Putin.  War is business, and the US is paying both sides — not profiting off both sides as would be the case if the goal was to win.  The goal is to soak the US people and break the American economy for a socialist take-over.  So far so good...

"Climate change" is now the primary driver of global hegemony.  The youth of the Western world have been targeted with this fallacy, and thus the primary impetus for authoritarian power grabs around the world.  "Settled Science" has become the justification for censorship, authoritarian dictates, permissions to work, travel, buy and sell.  No one is allowed to have an alternate opinion or even to publish the facts. 

It is the dis-empowering of the free world, consolidated once again into the hands of the money printers. Their desires are insatiable. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Yes, what a wonderful world.  What is the problem?  It seems your version of socialism is voluntary for its own sake.  So not really statist or collectivist, just a bunch of people who respect me as I respect them.  They lay no claim to me or my labors.  Mutual cooperation by agreement.  Sounds good.  Not socialism though.

I agree with you (mostly).  But it sounds more like Capitalism than Socialism.  Just saying.

Who says what I am free to practice?  When you say "I owe to everyone..." do you mean that I ought to be productive if I want to help ensure the species, or I will be compelled to be productive by some authority or regulation? 

So far, if voluntary, you are describing a free and responsible people — not socialism by any stretch.  Most of the so-called socialists I know who say the world has really never implemented real socialism seem to be describing the principles of Christianity, but their secular attempt at ignoring "God" comes up short.  Rather than acknowledge the mystery, the Science is always settled with these folks.
