No one can make me wise.  If I don't "wise up" on my own initiative, it's unlikely to ever happen.  16 years of compulsory 'education' did not make me wise  it was primarily a distraction and a regulation of what information I was to 'learn.  Any wisdom I have acquired has been through experience, often putting what I was taught to the test.  Lots of trials and tribulations  but they were my own, not some new hoop to jump through at school today.  I was an A student when I wanted to learn the subject.  I loved the library  I looked forward to being able to spend time there following my own train of thought and interests in science and history.

My humble opinion on gaining wisdom?  Seek the truth, whatever it is. Tell the truth  especially to yourself.  Discover the untruths in your inner monologue.  Correct your narrative.  Fess up, make amends.  Know the truth, and the truth will set you free.  ;-)

“The teacher is engaged not simply in the training of individuals, but in the formation of the proper social life.... In this way, the teacher always is the prophet of the true God and the usherer-in of the true Kingdom of God.” http://libertytree.ca/quotes/John.Dewey.Quote.5799

That's a pretty big assumption of power over the populace.  Socialism is just another religion, the State being the Church, and 'educators' it's ministers.  Their God must simply be Power itself.

"I want you to go to the window right now. Right now. I want you to go to the window and yell 'I am mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more!'"  ;-)

Spoken like a true leftist.  Fox News' audience is larger than all the other 3-letter media outlets combined.  What I find astonishing is how all of their stories sound the same  same phraseology, same narrative with twisted jargon that doesn't sound naturally spoken.  It's as if they are all coordinating their stories together  i.e. getting their stories straight.  What a racket.  Remember that this is all about vast amounts of money and power.  The last thing they want you to know is how the racket works  they will do anything to keep their power and influence.

Trump has taken them all on; witness the response.  Let's keep it up!

Why isn't voting as secure as an ATM transaction?  Banks can track every penny, but local elections are run by public school flunkies.  Counting ballots should be the same as counting chips in a casino with lots of watchers watching the watchers.  Why?  Because people cheat when given the opportunity!  Denial of this is the crucial 'tell' among those who advocate electronic voting, mail-in voting, no-ID voter registration.  This has been going on for decades, particularly in Democratic cities, with over 100% of registered voters voting many of whom are apparently deceased or have moved away.  Dead Democrats swinging elections is widespread, only denied by the winners, and thus never investigated.

Unlike the Peter Principle in which one rises to the level of one's incompetence, there is apparently no ceiling to the Taranto Principle!  Forget about even a façade of professionalism  the masks are off.  Not an unbiased reporter among any of them  they're "journalists."  I don't want 'journalism,' I want accurate reporting  reporters.  Stop diluting every fact with opinion.  Gossip isn't news, it's libel.  Fact-checkers are propagandists.

Good Lord, we are in for a wild ride  10 days to go.

The good intentions are the selling point.  However, this system puts the power of a nation into a single hand  whoever controls the issuance of currency controls the nation.  American colonists issued their own script interest-free  it is telling that the British soon sent their military.  Abraham Lincoln also issued currency interest-free  he did not survive the War, and neither did the Greenbacks.  Understand that the central bankers call themselves Governors  because they DO govern.  Whoever has the gold makes the rules, and all the 'money' coming from them have terms and conditions for its use.  Yes the British monarchy has many glorious accomplishments using the same techniques as Keynes  indeed, you must have the power to declare your word as good as gold.  In England the word of the King is law.  In America, there are not supposed to be Kings or rulers  WE are each the sovereigns without any subjects.  When we have the Chairman of the Federal Reserve declare how much it will cost to rent money this year  and how much you owe of the unpayable debt  you have a governor of all, rich and poor.  They own your 'obligations' to them and you will pay or else.  History tells the tale.

Booms and busts  that is what a fiat currency borrowed into existence promotes, while the bankers get a piece of the action in both directions.  Expansions and contractions in the money supply are what cause these booms and busts.  Bankers practically give the new money away in the beginning, then end up seizing massive amounts of property from those that had the musical chair pulled out from them.  Over and over and over  such that the nation's entire money supply is being rented in perpetuity, the only change being the negotiation of the terms of a forever unpayable debt.  That's the game.

This circular logic goes nowhere.  "Irreason" is not even a word.  "Ignorance" is not a lack of knowledge per se, but the 'ignoring' of facts.  It is not so much that you are unknowledgeable it's just that your information and thus your conclusions are incomplete (or just plain untrue)  an educated man can very easily be an ignorant man.  True reason cannot take sides other than to pursue the truth.  What do you do when the truth is in opposition with your sacred cows?

Franklin and the rest of the Continental Congress just passed the resolution to declare independence from England unanimously.  Either they all stand and fight for the Declaration of Independence or be hanged as traitors to the Crown.

I don't see the contradiction.  The following sentence not included in the quote does not negate it, nor is it evidence of an intent to mislead the reader.  The government being the "employer of last resort" would be nothing more than the Fed being the "lender of last resort"  the Fed now being the issuer of all currency for the country, why would government labor not do the same thing?  A central bank creating money out of nothing and then charging interest for it is the very core of communism.  And Keynes well knows it.
Keynesian government is a labor racket! Paper pushers, administrators, regulators, collectors, counters, and all the support staff required -- producing NOTHING, consuming almost everything. And that's what governments have become.

Who could have contemplated the lengths they would go to thwart Trump at every turn with the MSM leading the charge?  4 years later, Hillary still hasn't conceded the election and the Democrats are taking their game to new depths.

The burlesque and travesty has only just begun. ;-)

Thankfully, the incompetence of Obama and the Democratic House and Senate couldn't push through the agenda they had been promising for eons.  Trump has done more in one term than any president in history IMHO and while facing off a hostile Congress and the Deep State.  The 2020 election is going to be an epic display of blatant corruption.  It will be a test of the nation's soul.

Hanging chads will be nothing compared to the 2020 mail-in ballot fiasco already unfolding.  What a hot mess.

E Archer, NYC

What a hot mess the 2020 elections are going to be!

She isn't lying.  As long as the "election product" is "credible" she has done her job.  In other words, she was hired to fix election results.  But she wasn't very good at it, and her "election products" over the years were less and less credible.  Voter fraud is very real and has been for decades.  Ballot tampering is a tried a true tactic of corrupt politicians since the first lot was cast.

E Archer, NYC

Can an election be stolen?  We are about to find out!

The US Constitution was originally formed as a rule book for the government, not the people.  In time, the tone and context shifted to positivist law yoking the people with duties and obligations to transfer labor and property to the government.  We've come a long way, baby.

No, no, no, Waffler.  It is the individual's right to self-determination and includes the right to associate with others, but it does not subjugate the individual to the group.  The majority cannot vote away the rights of another  that is the key difference between a democracy and a republican form of government.  A government of We the People can only assign powers to our representatives to protect our inalienable rights  they have no power to 'rule' any more than your neighbor has the power to rule you.  Because of evil in the world, we must be on our guard against consolidated power which historically has been the enslavement of the people under a ruling class holding all the power.

The confusion occurs because the US government now acts as a clearing house for its central bank, and the people are 'voting' for a piece of the treasury upon any number justifications.  The result is a mountain of unpayable debt and civil strife as the classes fight over the money, demanding better conditions of their servitude.  Centralized power has always been the danger.

The epitome of this has been displayed in Biden rallies  a circle drawn on the floor with a chair in it separated by other circles 6 feet apart.  "For your own security, sit here, read this, say this."  That is truly how the elites see us.
