Wells quote Think bigger. Islam is now a tool to break down Americanism. It is designed to keep you in fear and spend "your" money to fight a perpetual war. If our government was on "our" side they would stop letting these folks who want us all dead into the country. Break Americans economically, sell out American Industry to foreign powers, disarm Americans, let illegal aliens live on welfare...anyone else starting to see the big picture? 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/30/09 re: General Mark Clark quote They're not called Communists anymore, they're called Globalists. And they are as real as a heart attack. National Soveriegnty is pretty much an obsolete notion...unless there is a reenactment of 1776 and pretty damned quick! 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/30/09 re: Garrison Keillor quote Mike, does that mean you get a hug and some counselling when they foreclose on your house? ;-) Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/27/09 re: Milton Friedman quote Anon, those same people (deadbeat welfare recipients) are sitting home getting fat and watching TV...and now they want you to pay for their health care too. I have an idea...how about they do something about their own health first? How about they get off their fat lazy asses? 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/27/09 re: Martin H. Fischer quote Anon, that is exactly right. It isn't about honest transactions. Most of us have to hire bookkeepers to protect ourselves from tax extortionists. In other words, to keep "them" honest. Which creates a huge drain on our time and resources and gives "them" a tremendous level of control over our productive efforts. If it looks like communism, sounds like communism..... Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/27/09 re: Krishnamurti quote Waffler, maybe I can help explain. Statist Theocracy is a general term that describes a government's efforts to subjugate a population through a system of controlling laws and monetary manipulations. i.e.: The Federal Reserve is a privately owned bank that answers to no one. In fact it controls the government and the economy. We live at its whim. As for laws of control...I do not include laws of justice and decency here. What I'm referring to are laws that are so numerous and ridiculous that not even the judges know them all. And that in fact make us all guilty of something at all times. In this way we are always subject to arrest. Add to that things like the Patriot Act under which no crime of any sort even needs to be committed in order for your government to detain you indefinately and in secret. Starting to get the picture? We are living in a "Soviet" style society already. It simply hasn't announced itself as such yet, but its coming. That's why they are doing their level best to disarm us. 5 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/26/09 re: Martin H. Fischer quote Bookkeepers, Tax Collectors, Licence issuers...stand in line to receive your priveleges comrade! Bureacracy is another symptom of a diseased nation and an institution put to great use by Stalin himself. Without a radical return to a Republic we will soon lkose the last of our freedoms. But if we do need more bookkeepers I say we turn them loose on The Federal Reserve where there is obviously no accountibilty and no responsibilty in place. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/26/09 re: Krishnamurti quote Agreed Mike, The Statist Theocracy that infests the USA is easily compared to a creeping cancer. The host will appear healthy for a while but death occurs very rapidly once the disease firmly takes hold. We are nearly there... Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/26/09 re: Milton Friedman quote And further to this: "You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for - another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them - and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for - that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it." ~~ Dr. Adrian Rogers, 1931 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/25/09 re: Erich Fromm quote PS Waffler, I put Fascism and Socialism in the same undesirable category. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/25/09 re: Erich Fromm quote Waffler, you are correct in your reference. The context of my comment was that people envision that socialism works and that it is equally good for "all". I suggest that this particular belief is emotionally based because when stripped of emotional desire, it simply doesn't work. People are generally unwilling to work for things that others are to receive. Socialism, while an emotionally utopian desire, removes motivation and therefore does not function in reality. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/25/09 re: Friedrich Nietzsche quote Jim K, You actually CAN abolish them. All you have to do is rid the country of anyone who is considered to be "not poor", by making them poor. At that point with everyone being the same...no one is poor. And that's how communism works. The only thing stopping the full onslaught of communism in the land of the free right now is the 2nd Amendment. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/25/09 re: Friedrich Nietzsche quote There will always be a certain percentage of disadvantaged...that's nature. But 40% is artificially high. Welcome to the welfare / warfare state. 7 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/25/09 re: Frederic Bastiat quote This is very well evidenced in the state's propensity to "Bail Out" their friends and bank's who have failed to manage themselves properly. That they should consider themselves authorized to do so is appalling. Please...no one tell the annointed one what comes after a trillion... They are deliberately undermining the American economy as part of the globalist agenda. They are traitors. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/25/09 re: Erich Fromm quote Would "Consumer Taxpaying Sheep" qualify? 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/24/09 re: Marcus Aurelius quote Cheers and Salutations Archer! And remember all...A government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take everything you have...and that is exactly what they are doing. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/24/09 re: Noah Webster quote Barack O Changey Boy is "not" an American citizen : http://www.scribd.com/doc/7817311/Obamas-Birth-Place....and that's just one of hundreds of sources. Waffler, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'm willing to sell you cheap.... 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/24/09 re: James Madison quote Madison was right. Keep voting! 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/24/09 re: George Boas quote When oh when will we collectively realize that the US was bought and paid for by the "Globalist International Bankers" pretty much since Hamilton showed his true colors as a traitor to the revolution? They're all selling us down the road and they do it by dazzling us with "right and left" BS. Mr. Hopey Changey is no fool...but he is a dangerous traitor...or would be if he were an American. 4 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/23/09 re: Noah Webster quote Waffler...which nation's passport was Obama flying around the middle east on when in his twenties? It wasn't an American one, was it? Nope! He is not an American...I don't hate him for "that"...I hate him because he is a communist. And I have lost most of my respect for a system that allows its own laws to be broken to put a communist in power. Oh and by the way...I can live in the US anytime I want to. I'm a citizen. 21Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/23/09 re: George Bernard Shaw quote Archer, we can agree: Socialists are Morons who's belief system's are based on emotions.Sad sad sad.... 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/23/09 re: Noah Webster quote Jim K, its worse than that - Obama is not even an American. And he works for the Globalists, not Americans. Another puppet leader edging us ever closer to slavery. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/23/09 re: Noah Webster quote Turns out that we're not alone in our realizations...In 2008 American's bought over 12 million firearms and over a billion rounds of ammunition. Gee, how come? Because the quote above represents what is becoming common knowledge, that's how come... Reply J Carlton, Calgary 11/23/09 re: John Steinbeck quote Mike Laub, communism defeated itself. It simply is not a sustainable doctrine. As Thatcher said, what do you do when you run out of everyone else's money? I like Steinbeck's determination to fight any philosophy or politic that limits or controls.
